Knicks need to come out strong and build off 4th quarter/OT momentum.
Hopefully the rust is gone and no more airballs.
Gotta maintain homecourt.

Hopefully Mitch hits FTs and Hart shoots w confidence and hits his shots

Not sure what the Knicks need to do to return to KAT as facilitator in high post. Cavs bigs were more effective defending that than Atlanta or Philly. Hopefully we find a way to better adjust or exploit that. I’d like to think that OG getting it going will help as that could end up drawing both of their bigs away from the paint and after that Cavs defense is very vulnerable. Regardless we need to do something. I wouldn’t abandon the high post

KAT had a terrible game for the most part and OG was still getting his legs back under him and trying to find his rhythm. Getting OG back going for production and threat is def vital to the offense we were playing the previous 2 series. Probably opens things up for KAT as well.

Cleveland only came here to get one and they can still do that so we better be ready and not play how we did for the first three and a half quarters.

To get build that lead I do believe Cavs did a great job defending the cuts and thus gave KAT little to work with. It slowed down the pace but it fatigued them and in part lead to the collapse. The cognitive decline from being tired had to be a factor. Astonishing how bad the decsion making/execution was in those last minutes.
I think someone indicated Mitchell looked compromised/hobbled. Mobley could not find range down the stretch. As much as they targeted Harden it was on Mobley to carry them in my opinion and he could not get it done.

In this series running the offense through Kat is going to be alittle more challenging…

In this series it’s going to be let’s pick on James harden Cleveland is going to counter with doubles … we have to hit our open looks .

The hope is that after getting it rolling late in the game we can play that way from here out. The perimeter shooting was abysmal for most of that game. The entire team was rusty would be my guess. Can't start out that way tonight. Punch them in the mouth from tip off! Don't let up.

That someone was me. It was before they brought in Keon (?) which breen thought was a breather but I saw DM being a little gimpy

It wasn’t decision making IMO. DM was receiving double teams as he got into the paint and they were playing 4 on 3 At the perimeter. Harden was not and frankly his handle is elite on the perimeter but he’s not the same guy he used to be in the paint. He had the fumble-rooskies
