If we match up with them in the conference finals, and it looks like it’s going that way, this series is going to really test this team. Their physical defensive style really punishes ISO heavy play and they recover extremely well to the 3pt line while also giving help protecting the paint.

Their offense creates lots of open looks. They mix a lot of Cade being physically dominant taking advantage of smaller defenders with ball movement. They can really wear you down. They will force switches and attack Brunsons a strategy while trying to wear him down with the defense. Brown has not yet shown that he knows how to counter this and his players rotations have been bazaar at times.

I’m not looking past Philly but the confrontation between these two teams looks inevitable

I'm not worried about a team with Tobias Harris as their #2.

Cade is proving to be a dominate player. Detroit goes where he goes and, so far, no one seems to have found a way to stop him.

Knicks have been assisted on more than 60% of their field goals the last 5 games, so I disagree that they have been iso heavy. The ball is moving and the Knicks are finding the open man.

This is definitely not the same Knicks team that Detroit saw in the regular season. I really want to know which coach made the change to play through Towns. That has changed our season trajectory. I really wish we had home court in the conf finals. I would prefer Cleveland for this reason but I don’t think they have a chance to win their series

I'll be honest. I have not been a Detroit believer all year long. I don't get how they won all those games. On offense, there's one guy. Sure they can play great physical defense.
I don't know, I just don't see them as an NBA Finals level team. I hope the Knicks figure out Cade, and trounce them.

For that matter, I would not be shocked if Clev comes back and wins this series.

ORL was a play in team and was without their best player most of that series, and yet they were up 23 in game 6 about to take them out before that epic collapse.

CLE isn't very good, Knicks would sweep them. They have a worse team now than they did when we demolished them 2 years ago. And we are much better now.

Somehow I wish the Knicks could play Cleveland and last years Pacers just to vanquish some daemons
