Was surprised Kawhi was on the team to begin with given his knee history.
Like most was not surprised by him leaving.
Surprised Embiid is still in it.
I suppose Brunsons hand and surgery was reason Derrick White was added over him?
Not saying white is undeserving.

Im guessing France and Canada are the medal contenders? USA on another level.

I think it's already that point. No defensive 3 seconds in FIBA. How are they going to score on those 2 giants?

Germany basically has the Same Squad together with great Coaching, chemistry, tolles...
Not saying they are a lock for a medal but If they get into their groove... ;-)

Being the skeptical type I tend to think K Leonard realized he wasn't in starting 5 and came up with knee excuse to bail on team USA.

Also hope J Brown uses the D White add to semi blow up Celtic karma.

It's what they did the last few FIBA world cups and it didn't worked so well. The usa is the best basketball country in the world but they have to send their best players. I'm not sure I would bet on the US if they played against the best of euros players.

Embiid is a weird kind of dirty. Not malicious, just freaking strong and massive human whose dimensions put him in bad spots to foul. Little bitch kind of dirty the way he held down Mitch in our series. Like a spoiled brat kind of dirty.

Contrast Lambier kind of dirty which was deliberate/effective back in the day.
Shaq was not dirty but so strong he threw players off him. If he used elbows as Embiid does he could have killed someone.

Your take has proven to not have the desired results historically.. Exhibit last summer's FIBA result were USA did not win even with Mikal, JB and Josh as just one example. There are others.

Your take has proven to not have the desired results historically.. Exhibit last summer's FIBA result were USA did not win even with Mikal, JB and Josh as just one example. There are others.

USA lost by 2 points in the semifinal to Germany. Cry me a river it’s been 50 years since the Knicks won a championship.

I am not interested in any of the Team USA stuff this time. I would have maybe been interested int Caitlin Clark was on the Womens team but she got left off. I do enjoy failed Joel Embiid flops though.
