![]() how does the writer not include Donte? It was clear by Mid March that DD was turning into a stud.

![]() martin wrote: Deni's an up-and-coming player and at age 23, just had a leap in production this season practically across the board - increased his scoring, rebounding, assists, and shooting percentages. He's a do it all kind of player. Post-injury Gordon Hayward? Turkoglu? He's on a 4yr/$55m extension - really good value with the upside to be worth more than twice that. Physically, he's the size that we're looking for and is on a super-value contract, but I don't think we're an ideal fit for him - especially if Randle is healthy and back on our roster. This guy needs PT to reach his max potential. If we're looking at a post-Randle world, he might be a nice piece. An alternate player I'd target is Kyle Anderson of the Timberwolves - sort of similar all-around glue player, though at age 30 his opportunity to establish himself as a bonafide starter has passed. UFA after this season. He'd be willing to accept a secondary role. He's a functional spot starter at multiple positions, coming off a 2yr/$18m contract. (If this thread is about values - he'll come for fair market value...) “That was two, two from the heart.” - John Starks

![]() Deni is the love child of Gallo and Grayson Allen? Only do comps to other white guys
![]() Curious if he has the "Thibian Dog" in him on defense. The intelligence on defense is a must. |

![]() Nalod wrote:Deni is the love child of Gallo and Grayson Allen? Only do comps to other white guys I think he is rated as one of the top 5-10 best wing defenders in the league. Pure Thibs guy. Deni does not have the burst or strength of Hart but his offense is more diverse and he is more in the mold of DDV/iHart in terms of scoring versus passing: He'd rather pass than score himself but if he needs to, he'll score in bunches. "All in" has so many meanings but I'd be all-in on this dude with more than 1 first round pick plus a player like Bogey. I'd go as far as Bogey (who Wash can use on team and/or trade), their future #1 that we own, one of the firsts this year and perhaps another low level one. That's how far I'd go. He fits too well with what the Knicks are doing and what Thibs needs, trusts as a coach. He is also too redundant and I'd agree with others on that point. But you just don't stop at that point when you make roster decisions (see the DDV signing when you have Deuce, IQ, Grimes, Josh on team). Deni would make the team uber flexible in terms of injury, future trades, long term growth (guy is 23). Official sponsor of the PURE KNICKS LOVE Program
