Gave us a nice 2021-22.
Unfortunately, the best may be behi8 him.
Long injury plagued career.
Hopefully gets a shot with another team.

EF will be next.

35 is not a bad age to retire. If he plays one more year for a chip on a title contender with mins available (bucks?) I hope he can return as an assistant coach after that. He will be missed!

Knicks can resign Rose to a lower contract if both parties agree.

He's done. Might make a good coach.

Adidas, however, hedged its bet on Rose’s career. As the contract makes clear, the deal could be terminated if Rose retires from basketball prior to 2025. This clause may be one reason why Rose has decided to continue his career: if he retires anytime soon, he would forgo being paid tens of millions of dollars.

I'm not sure what other organizations Rose has any value for. TBH, I'd also like to see Taj brought back. I think he brings a lot to the locker room and can still help in limited minutes.

Well I can’t think of a buck backup or 3rd string PG right now so I assume there could be mins there. If/when Chicago blows it up, he can get mine there and keep the crowd happy with the losing, Ball is not playing next year.

Only want Taj back as a coach of some sort. We are looking to be more athletic at the big spots.

He got paid 14 mil by us and similar by addidas. When he could no longer perform he was a mentor to the young guys. Does not make him coaching material. Perhaps from a ceremonious post he could ride the pine witht he bulls and ride off in the sunset.
Fact is his career is was uneven due to injuries and him being a dick as well. I think we boxed him into some grand love affair as if he was an alltime great with many accomplishments on and off the court. Not really.
His rise to MVP at age 22 was epic. His come back was rather brief and unsustainable. He flamed out by the end of Thibs first season. He played a lot. Thats on him and Thibs as well. It was what required to get the job done.
Im not ****ting on him, but just perspective. He looked like **** the last two seasons.
Granted, if he is serious about coaching then why not. Because he is Drose? Because he was MVP 13 years ago? Maybe. But becuase he was cool on the bench and fans were digging it? There has to be more substance to that. The work would have been in practice working with other players and not under the fans eye.
ITs called doing your job when you get paid 14mil on a guaranteed deal.
Hope he has a good life and if its in basketball he succeeds at what ever he does.
Bulls should retire his jersey given he was MVP. Thats a great honor and a damn big one!!!

Dr. Feelgood must have been on the 20-21 medical staff, right? Rose and Noel came back from the dead, had solid seasons, signed big deals, and were done. Dr. Feel good moved to the islands about 10 games in to Kemba's run.

I don't get the love affair with Rose. I don't hate him but he was pretty skeevy his first time around here -- a gang banger in the choo choo sense. As some like to say not illegal but distasteful at best. Plus some other issues. He did raise the Knicks to the playoffs that one time but since then has shown zilch while giving the Knicks a decent cap hit. Good luck and all that but again I don't understand the hero worship.

He had a good half season with us 3 years ago and then immediately got exposed in the playoffs and stunk it up ever since. He got paid. He will be fine.

Rose's replacement?

I'd think the hope - at least before Summer League and Training Camp - is that Rokas would be the replacement as 3rd PG?

I’d like to see Rokas play this summer. Time for him to make his play. Come or stay in Europe?
ANy news about his intentions?
