![]() This feels like a trade is coming. He might be a throw in for a trade in the off-season. Gives the FO some trade flexibility.

So just finished watching some highlights. Obi and Roby are similar players. Both unselfish players who shines with more mins. Roby might have more all around skills, but Obi was the 8th pick and you can see with mins he produces. Roby was a mid second round pick. It’s cheaper to pay Roby and have him back up Randle. Trade Obi since his value is much higher right now especially how he ended the season. Once Randle is back Obi will play his usual 10-12 mins, which means his impact on the team will be less. He need a lot of mins to impact the game consistently (like most players). This is a nice low level chess move and probably more impactful than a late first round pick. So we swapped our pick for Hart and Roby. If we learned anything about Leon Rose and this FO, they make moves that appears to be minimal but turns out to be extremely valuable. Would be interesting to see who we would’ve picked. But these 2nd rounders are cheaper and play with a chip on their shoulder. Perfect player to have behind Randle. Obi needs more mins and I think he would shine on any team as long as he’s not playing behind a 2x all star. Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland.

![]() Add Roby, Jeffries and Fournier's salaries next season and your looking at about $23M in salaries that pretty much expire next season. If they pick up Rose, which is unlikely, that numbers goes up to nearly $40M in expiring contracts.
