Here's to fun times ahead!

New York just took the H2H season series (3-1) vs. Cleveland Cavaliers (3 consecutive wins in a row x3 back to back to back) + clinched an Eastern Conference Playoffs Birth (@ the same time).

I needed you after IQ's career high man. Do the the thing with the green check marks, but this time compare him to Oscar!

this feels so much better than last time. Sustainable. Like this is the start of a five year run into the play offs. And if we play like we did tonight, and get Randle back and stay healthy, we can beat anyone.

We still need one more win or an Heat loss but it is 99% official.

I agree.

H2H?

NY can compete against, fight and beat just about, anyone.

3-1 vs. Boston Celtics.
3-1 vs. Cleveland Cavaliers.
3-1 vs. Miami Heat.
2-2 vs. Philadelphia 76ers.

I'd say the only Eastern Conference Contender who's had our number this year are the Milwaukee Bucks (0-3).

Heck.

We even swept the Western Conference #1 Seeded Denver Nuggets (2-0).

And once this 2023 Knicks squad turns up it's PLAYOFF INTENSITY?

#CantWait.

So with the Brooklyn Swamps losing, are we a lock for the 5th if we win 1 of the last 3 games? Just asking.

Also did anybody see that foul on spencer d. shooting a 3 and no call? Why didn’t he run to the side line to challenge? I missed most of the game except that last play. They must have ran out of TOs? spencer just talked about it. No more TOs to challenge. Looked like Brooklyn should’ve won that game based on the little bit I saw.

This is why players flop. You have to over exaggerate the foul and learn how to make that a normal shot like Jules does all the time.

Knicks are locked into the 5th seed from an article I just read.

Shut JB down. Let RJ get some rest as well.

Let’s see some McBride and Fournier! You never know when situationally you may need Fournier in to hit a 3 end of game- give him 3 meaningless games to shake the rust off.

And let’s see some Jericho Simms.

Agree. Let’s rest Brunson and RJ. Mitch too. Let Sims play instead. Also definitely no need to try to rush back Julius

100%! I have a bad feeling something bad will happen if/when Thibs and these players insist on playing these last 3 games as if they mean anything. We should definitely shut Brunson and Rob down or at the very least cut their minutes in half.

But major props to this team for making the playoffs! I thought we'd struggle to make the play-in tournament before the season. Obviously I did not know or expect Brunson to be this good and this impactful. He's been a dream at PG in every aspect! Also never expected Randle to bounce back and have this type of season either. He deserves a ton of credit! It's hard enough to do what he did but to do it here in NYC is huge! Big props to IQ as well! He has developed himself into the best two way bench player in the league! Best draft pick we've had since David Lee. And of course props to the rest of the team, the front office and especially Thibs!

This season is already a huge success unless we have a repeat of the Atlanta series and I don't see that happening with Brunson. We'll definitely take the Cavs to 6 or 7 games. Should be fun!

I hope the Knicks make a deep playoff run because you are not going to be a happy camper when the 49ers trade for Rodgers

This being Thibs and this being the Knicks the "bad luck because of a dumb move for a meaningless purpose" scenario feels virtually guaranteed.
Nonetheless, still holding out hope that the Knicks organization and coaching staff play it smart for a change.

While I am proponent for limiting minutes, at the same I want them razor sharp and dialed in.
Im cool with taking time off, but knick play last game on the 9th and first playoff game not until 15th.
JB has had some off and now has RJ. Keep the starters to about 25 minutes.
Someone paid for tickets for the 9th, they deserve to get some money’s worth.
Run the table and win all the games. Its their job.

Finding that balance is always the issue. I believe it depends on the player. Brunson can play all 3 games, but not at the mins he will get during the playoffs. Seems like a logical thing to do but thibs can be unpredictable these days. More adaptable approach than his perceived structured approach. I believe todays game will tell us a lot regarding his rotation strategy over these last 3 games.

I want to see Thibs experiment with these small ball lineups. We are a different team when you have 4 ball handling guards on the floor at the same time.
