Woods, while talented, is a toxic personality and only has 1 more year on his deal.

Everyone knows Houston is drafting a big and would want to make room for playing time.

The market was pretty clear on all accounts.

NBA teams can't keep it in their pants even during the Finals. This off season is set to be bumping. Guess the Rockets have already thrown in the towel. 29 team league + John Wall contract

Mavs love them some toxic, seven foot, three-point shooters. I can see this going well...

Nuts, I was hoping the Mavs might have been interested in taking on Randle

Still unlikely we move Randle. He’s still our best player and acquiring talent is the issue. I believe they let Mitch walk and make an effort to get Toppin some backup minutes at center.

I think this is a real problem in the NBA- the finals tax. It's possible the Warriors or Celtics could have made better deals than this but announcing a trade in the middle of the finals for either of them would be idiotic. There should be a moratorium of trades until the Finals finish plus a week and then a week of trades before the draft.

Dallas was just in the Western Conference Finals and they add a major piece? I just think it's a bad luck. Also, not good for the league. I feel like Milwaukee had about 5 minutes to enjoy their championship.

Also the work around that "Dallas will make the pick for Houston and then trade it after the draft because of the Stepien Rule" sounds like some bull**** too.

Sangun will get woods minutes and Likely Rockets draft Holmgren. perhaps they do something with the two lower first round picks other than use them?

Dallas gets long 4-5 production with short contract. Wood is toxic but on a contract year he’ll be ok.
Kleeber can continue off the bench as he can’t handle starter minutes due to injuries.

It would have been a tough deal to do, unless you're interested in round 3 of THJ. The important thing is that Boban still stays close to Luca and he can continue his side gig as an acclaimed Hollywood actor without much interruption. I'm convinced that Boban's role in Hustle is the real catalyst that set KP off. Boban and Luka are stars that shine so bright that they made KP look like a flashlight.

That’s a solid deal. Definitely will hurt our draft positioning.

Hopefully the Knicks don’t let Mitch walk. Can’t allow Detroit to get him, there two moves away from being better than us this offseason.

Wow, that is all it took to get a 20 pt scoring big man. Woods' reputation must really be in the trash. Solid move by the Mavs. They now have one more scorer on a team that needed some low post scoring. But they also needed some rim protection and Woods does not help much with that. Unless Brunson demands the Max, Dallas will likely resign him.

Scoring 20 points on the Rockets is like being the one guy who can get it up during a filmed gangbang. It's not that you're necessarily that special, it's just that someone has to do it. I'm interested in how much they extend him for, if they extend at all.

The Mitch for Brunson sign and trade isn’t happening now. Rose needs to lock up Mitch before we lose him for nothing
