It'll be awesome next week when Leon and Rick decide to have a father-son dinner for 4: Leon, his son & Rick and his son. This'll be all on the up and up and super kosher. After dinner, they can all have drinks with the CAA agents who are just casual, mutual friends discussing non business stuff.

If they get Jalen to leave Dallas at around 20 maybe Leon’s star power would be worth it.

Do the Knicks let him go after Jalen re-signs with the Mavs? Or does he make it through December for appearances? Or maybe until he paws one of the Knick City Dancers....

Just another chapter in the Mavs/Knicks connections. Tim Hardaway sr just signed with us as a scout. Wonder what Lukas dad is up to these days? #maverknicks

Family BBQ. Can also include Tim Hardaway and his son. The father-son pickup game would be a fun watch. I can’t name any other fathers of active NBA players in the Knicks org.

From January to April 2007, Brunson worked as an assistant coach with the Denver Nuggets, focusing on player development. From 2007 to 2009, he was with the University of Virginia as the Cavaliers' director of basketball operations. In May 2009, Brunson was hired as assistant coach for the Hartford Hawks men's basketball team.[5] On September 9, 2010, Brunson was hired as an assistant coach for the Chicago Bulls.

During the 2012–13 season, Brunson served as an assistant coach to Mike Dunlap on the Charlotte Bobcats' staff.[6]

Brunson was also an assistant coach with the Minnesota Timberwolves from 2016 to 2018. In May 2018, Brunson resigned amidst allegations made against him regarding misconduct toward women.[7]

Brunson coaches at Camden High School in Camden, New Jersey. He is Dajuan Wagner Jr.'s head coach. Brunson resigned prior to the 2020–21 season while Camden High was ranked the #7 team in the country,[9] but changed his mind a couple days later and remains the coach.[10]

So he's a development guy (we just lost one of those) whos worked with Thibs before... I dont think helps us sign his kid at all... Who wants to play for their dad? Man I didnt want my old man up my ass in my 20s thats for sure lol
