I think I used the words “fck yeah” Atleast 20 x on that shot. Hopefully before we get smoked we can go another cycle. I may drop dead if I celebrate the same🤪😂

That was and 1 by the way. Marjle hit him on the head! They just didn’t call that stuff back then

RIP Crushalot😞

And the Eastern Conference finals are going to be complete garbage to watch - Celtics and the Heat - hate them both.

Me too but you gotta admin it's going to be a slugfest circa 90's basketball and that'll be intense!

i actually think about that shot quite a bit but in a different alternate reality way. would it have been good for the franchise if houston MISSED that shot? we would know that van gundy would get fired and we would hire phil jackson at the time. we probably would have traded ewing and get better value. that shot affected the trajectory of at least three major teams ( ny, miami, lakers) and possibly a few others ( like indy, sacramento, portland, etc.). it was good that we stick it to miami at the time but since then that franchise prospered while we sputtered. sorry to be a buzzkill.

Yeah, what would Knick fandom be without being able to pick through the golden moments and find the septic waste at the end of the rainbow?

Was Miami really only going to prosper if Houston misses the shot?
Was Phil Jackson at that time really interested in coaching Knicks without a Jordan or a Kobe type generational talent?
How the hell was missing the shot going to up Patrick Ewing's trade value?

Seriously, I get the NYC please pass me some **** with my homer apple pie, but really?

One of the most intense games I’ve ever watched. Supposedly game 7 the following year was even crazier but I was in army boot camp and couldn’t watch. I had drill sergeants come to me saying it was a great game

I'll be honest I went from loving this moment to developing resentment for it.. it has been a really long time since the team has been a contender

really great shot, better moment, excellent call

it felt like we didn't have another late game winner after this shot till RJ hit the one last year vs Boston!

I was thinking was he putting the nail in Knicks coffin or Miami’s. Miami has gone in to win three championships. Made numerous finals. I think we win the next series and after than never win a playoff series until the Knicks beat Boston. If you want to say Houston put a nail in the Knicks coffin with the albatross contract he signed. All down hill from there.
But no doubt I was jumping up and down when H20 hit that shot.

That’s not how it happened with the Knicks at all. Lol
