I'm feeling the Rams GM tonight, when he wore the classic F-them Picks shirt after winning the Supes Bowl.

I feel the same way. Dump all the picks for Jaden Ivey, so we can finally have our own version of Ja Morant who can lead this team somewhere. We need someone who can lead the way and make the most out of the talent here.

We have great center options. Great PF in Julius who is being asked to do too much, and is not clutch. EF is pretty good and catches too much heat and too much is expected out of him. Imagine RJ with a great PG leading things.

We’re going to have to get lucky and move up in the draft. I don’t see us being able to swap the 9-12 pick and any combination of other picks/players to swap with #1. And I see Ja changing the way people view a player like Ivey and no GM is just going to do that trade.

Pray for us to land the first pick and move up in the draft, pray for those ping pong balls to turn out for the 1% or whatever chance we have.

I'm not sure how exactly you're proposing we get him?

We would have to move up to 3 to realistically get Ivey, and even then we might have to make a trade. Ivey will likely by picked 2-4. If we only get the 9th pick, the only way we get Ivey is if he falls to 3-4 and those teams already have talented guards. We then would probably have to give up the 9th pick, Quickley, and another 1st round pick.

Likely far more. Would you trade Ja Morant for Kevin Knox? Or some similar talent?

Ja Morant was not Ja Morant until he came into the league and proved his dominance. Ivey looks good but there have been alot of good looking guards drafted high who did not pan out (Fultz). Thus, if a team like Orlando, who has three young PGs got the 3rd pick, they might be willing to make a deal. We might have to throw in Toppin too, which is giving up alot for an unproven guard, but if we finally want to get a young starting PG, we probably have to take that risk.

throw in Obi. Ja Morant killed it in college, and is better than Ivey. Ivey reminds me a little of D'Angelo Russell, who went #2, and is doing well in Minny.

A lot of us loved Ja coming out of college. What I like about Ivey is his quickness with the ball in his hands. That’s why Ja is Ja. Not saying Ivey is as good as Ja he’s not but that feature of his game can’t be taught and it will translate in the nba and is exactly what we need

If we are somehow lucky enough to get a top 3 pick and draft this kid the Knicks are a team that not only will make the playoffs but also make a run at a championship — no homer

Fit wise, Jabari Smith makes a lot of sense if you could get rid of Randle- spaces the floor, could really complement RJ

True but no way we get a top 3 pick given where we stand right now

Unless you’re Orlando and just barely missed the playoffs after drafting Shaq the year before

Just curious if anyone else watched Ivey against St. Peters last night. Played like he smoked too much dope before the game. LOL.

That was my 2nd time seeing him and was wondering what all the fuss was about. He didn't play head and shoulders better than any other player on the floor. That St Peter's pressure took him out of his game.

This seems a little racist? Who said he ever smoked anything? Why put that on this young kid?

is this racist? I'm white and smoked pot in college. I assume many basketball players smoke pot.

I did not see the game, but assumed it meant he appeared out of it and not locked in.

And if he gets drafted by NY it'll be legal!
