1.Chet Holmgren—- yes he needs physical work but pro trainers are paid to do it. A better version of kp
2.Jaden Ivey— pg. will be better in pros but not ja mordant good

3. Keegan Murray— Carmelo Anthony clone with great defensive skills closing in on 60-4o 25-10 which is unreal — only guy who has any chance to fall out of top 5 to our likely position. Slot him into sf with Barrett at sg and build the team around those 2. Star nba player

I just hope the Knicks don't miss out on TyTy Washington. He's at Kentucky, he can pass, he's big, he's fast.. makes sense from multiple perspectives

not as good as the top of the draft but I'm not as worried we're missing out as I've been in other drafts

I'm not sure Jaden is a "point" guard, but he can be an impactful lead guard in time. Murray isn't Carmelo Anthony by any stretch and I could just as easily see him being a Wesley Johnson type. Not top 3 material for me, especially over a guy like Griffin who has higher upside in the wing.

Agreed...Jaden is not a pg, at least in the traditional way. As he matures, I can see him running some half-court pick n roll, similar to Donovan Mitchell. Ivey is an explosive, quick twitch athlete who is most comfortable on the wing as a finisher; he is not a table-setter. Tired of trying to convert off guards into pg's.

Murray is good, but I don't see Melo. Murray is a tweener who seems most comfortable with his back to the basket, 15 feet and in. He has improved his 3, but Melo was much better further away from the basket than Murray. Would love to get Griffin, but I once teams get him in for individual workouts, he will shoot up the draft and there is no way he will be there when we pick. Right now, Jabari, Ivey, Chet, Paolo and AJ are out of reach for us. Hoping Johnny Davis slips and or we move up a little.

My best guess is hell go number 1 and with good reason. Hes close to 7 feet tall and is more fluid than 99% of the players his size. Beautiful jump shot that he simply rises up over his defenders to get off. Handles defends hes a top 3-4 player and if I had to put money on it hes number 1. Hes number 4 to me but hes a no brainer draft pick.. Hes gonna go number 1--id put money on that. There are things in Ivey and Holmgren I like in the nba a tad better but its darn close. Id be thrilled to get Smith believe me. Hes a no brainer

Slightly taller Julius Randle Big dude who’s a great passer and physically dominant. Duke to me has to be championship favorites with Williams griffin banchero. Physically the best team

He gives me Charlie Villanueva vibes at times and other times I see Derrick Coleman. At his worst, I see Jabari Parker. I think he's an NBA player and a top 5 pick, but I have a hard time predicting his impact physically.

He looks silky smooth- we'll probably miss him by 1.

He might be the best fit for our club. We definitely could slot him into lead guard. With his length body and ball control the nba game is Taylor made

Yeah but it aint happening bar a miracle. We'd probably have to give up RJ for him unless you can think of another logical trade that OKC/houston would accept.

Jabari Smith last night showing y he’s pick 1. Such a beautiful jumper. He’s so ling hecsimply rises up to shoot jumpers over any defender. Tremendous length and touch. I’ve seen a couple of Joe smith like games from him but he’s also done this too many x to ignore such a talented player. The safest number 1 pick this year.

I would 99.9% pick Jabari Smith with the #1 pick and then restructuring the roster around that pick. I hear the Chet arguments but I think he lacks the athleticism and foot work to be effective. He may end up being the better player in the draft, but he will get eaten alive in NY before he gets there. Seems closer to a KP trajectory than the KD people mention.

Only question for Jabari is what position does he end up at in NY. Not sure he has the bulk for the C. So you are basically selling on Randle and/or Toppin.

You know I gonna spin wit it

He’s a better Rashard Lewis or Jayson Tatum

A more realistic scenario is we trade up to 4th overall and include Obi, 8th pick, IQ and Mitch. Ivey is going 3rd or 4th. Would much rather get him than holmgren

I watch a lot of Big 10 basketball. Ivey can penetrate at will but is not a pg, not a good defender and does not shoot the 3 well. IMO Johnny Davis from Wisconsin will end up being a better pro. The kid to watch put for is the freshman Bryce McCowen from Nebraska.

Bryce and Keegan Murray head to head game. 6-9 230 is nba body for sf

Until the lottery, all my scenarios are premised on us winning the lottery and not using assets to pick #1. For me, less than that is not yet worth the daydream...
