I guess anything can happen on any given night but this one will be super tough. How the hell is Miami at top of the East with Butler and Bam missing almost half the season? Spoelstra is the amazing.

Miami just an incredibly top notch organization. Their pipeline and dev process is amazing.

Heat always seem to lock down RJ- doesn't bode well!

It helps that RJ does a good job finding Mitch in the paint. He is also getting craftier. I don’t have stats to back this up but I don’t find him missing many layups or getting blocked the way he used to. I could be wrong but it doesn’t seem like that. He looks like he’s getting craftier. F’ing A’ though, he needs to improve his foul shooting and get consistent….. and add a mid-range. I don’t even really care that much if he pulls an 0-for from 3 on some nights. That foul shooting has got to be fixed.

I was hoping that the end of this would include a clip from Pat Riley‘s post game interview. The look of pain on his face and him just moaning “pain” was so sweet. A friend of my wife caught a glance of what I was watching and exclaimed “oh my god what happened to him, that man looks like he’s dying.” She wasn’t wrong.

Love the change in mindset from 3 to the paint. Now just imagine when RJ starts converting his layups on a more consistent basis.

Still good for a few rushed misses per game.

we'll probably hit 100% of our FTs, going 8 for 8 or something low like that, and hit just 10% of our 3s!

Not a good spot for us on the road against a team that owns us and we’re 2 games under .500

Houston’s last second shot is still bouncing around on the rim

Great. Just great. We're 5.5 games back of the 6th seed 76ers and now we've gotta play Miami on the road.

I'm not excited for this game @ all and we're running out of time to make a push for the 6th seed. A Play-In would become a real disappointment for us this year.

Awesome game awesome series I remember I was at my grandma's house when I watched that shot go down I was 14 years old and went nuts running around her home. Damn. I miss those days.

Indiana Pacers were a real rivalry. 3-3 throughout 6 series of the 1990s.

Miami Heat? Cakewalk. 3-1 throughout 4 playoff series 😆

PS: Just kidding about Miami being a cakewalk even though we won 3-1 all 4 series game down to the last game ala 3-4 loss and then we won the next 3 series by going 3-2, 3-2 and 4-3 and that was awesome.

The only Eastern Conference team who ever had our postseason number were the Chicago Bulls and if not for Jordan I bet #33 would've won at least 2 rings.

JVG owned Riley. Only the Brawl were they able to beat us. Damn shame because that was our year.
PJ Brown Midget Tossed Charlie and all hell broke lose.

Sorry. But no it wasn't our year.

Yes. We would've eliminated Miami that series without the brawl and ended up sweeping them 4-0 throughout the 1990s.

But we wouldn't have eliminated Michael Jordan and his Bulls.

We lost to Miami 3-4 that series but guess what Chicago did to them? Chicago made light work of Miami and eliminated them in only 5 games (4-1).

That 1996-1997 Chicago Bulls team went 69–13 (.841)

We would've battled and fought that Chicago team as we did during the regular season that year and probably took them 6 maybe even 7 gsmes who knows but unfortunately we could never truly eliminate Michael Jordan; which is why Ewing and NY went 0-5 throughout 5 playoff series vs. MJ ala 88-89, 90-91, 91-92, 92-93 and 1995-1996 (where they destroyed us 4-1) and I'm sorry but 1996-1997 would've been no different (just 1 year later).

The only time we ever eliminated Chicago was 1993-1994 when Michael Jordan was playing baseball and strike 3 vs. the curve ball; while Scottie Pippen took us 7 games.

1996-1997 wasn't our year. Even if we eliminated Miami we would've ran into MJ23 and gone 0-6 vs him instead of just 0-5 sorry but that's reality man

THOSE WERE MY CHILDHOOD NY DAYS AND I WOULDN'T TRADE THEM FOR THE WORLD.

Somtimes I wonder if your still there...........
In any event phuch Jordan and your projection we'd lose. That was a good knick team! We won the last two games vs them that season after losing three. last Game was april 18th, I just looked it up. I was in mexico with wife and we watched the game in a bar.
Ewing played 41 minutes. LOL. oak 39. H20 37 minutes. Its like nobody played this until Randle? LOL Jordan played 39 min and hung 33 on us. They lost.
It was a statement last game of the season for both teams.
That even by JVG admission was our best shot that year. Im not saying we would have won. But it was our year to give them hell.
