Damian lillard isn't going to get traded they don't like anything we have . I could see the knicks trading for john wall fournier, walker, knox and first pick.

Dolan needed to step in when Phil Jackson was over his head. And he did. I don’t get the negativity here. Knicks are being run like a healthy franchise that just isn’t playing well. There’s no drama. The team just needs to step up.

Ive thought about John Wall. Im not giving up any first rd picks but Id do a money swap with Houston where Houston saves some money. We have Fourmier Kemba thats 27mm Im not a capologist but I think we have to come within 80% of the total

Maybe with a new PG a true PG we can reinvent ourselves like last year. But we need something

Your crying about the money we have locked up with Randle, and you do realize Wall is $44m this year, $47m next year.

I don’t see how we can trade for his contract or why we think he will work out when Kemba hasn’t.

Similarly, I'm not an investor but I think if you just buy low and then sell high you probably will become really rich

I'd love to see if we could get Goran Dragic- maybe a couple picks, Kemba, Kevin Knox, Mitchell?

They need to stop themselves from making desperate moves. Give it time. If the season becomes lost play the young guys and re-evaluae after the season. I loves Lilliard, but he's not carrying a gutted roster anywhere. Kemba wasn't a horrible move because his cap hit isn't horrible. Wall at $40M is disaster waiting to happen. And he still doesn't address the team's problems in the backcourt. He doesn't shoot well and he doesn't help the spacing. And that's when he was healthy.
Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right. - The Tick

Given the history and the way things have been going lately - you may be right. Let's hope Dolan has finally learned not to meddle during the season anymore. This would be a horrible move IMO - Lillard is 31, plays little defense and we'd give up 3 future picks and Obi and IQ? Plus, CP3 seems to be the only 30+ PG to defy father time.

That looks like a Dolan special.

I hope we don’t do something stupid like this. Quickley, Mitch, and a 1st round pick or 2 is more than enough for Lillard. If Lillard was 27, then I could see giving more but Lillard is 31 and probably only has 2-3 more prime years. Plus he wants like $50 mil a year on a new deal. If Portland wants more then the Knicks should pass.

If we trade IQ, Obi and Grimes for Lillard I’m done

Because that move means Isiah is back in charge and another 10-20 years of unwatchable basketball. Even if we take a step back this season we at least have nice young players with potential

Being nervous about Dolan meddling again is a very realistic concern to have

Nope, he's holding out for a buyout because he's going to sign with Dallas to play with his friend Luka

Lillard's injury is a lot more painful/debilitating than I initially thought- Abs Tenonapathy actually is felt where the tendons attach to the pubic bone, so he'll be in a lot of pain when he moves/twists turns. OCaused by chronic overuse only way to fix it is rest, but instead he played the olympics, and now they've given him a cortisone shot and sent him back in- ridiculous. Think he's going to age quickly and badly, so there's no way I want to trade for him.

There are no big names available that I want. Lillard is on the downslope, Simmons is a headcase and I doubt the 76ers want to trade with us

Sabonis and Turner are pipedreams. After that blowout at Indianapolis other night no way do they want our players - I doubt their FO was high on our assets to begin with

We need to dump the Randle and Fournier contracts and continue to do it the old fashioned way — build through the draft

You are giving up playable assets and picks for a 35 year old who is out of the rotation for his own team? WTF
