For me homerism.

Heading into the season I was A++ excited for 2021 due to two reasons. 1.) Playoffs as a 4 seed last year and 2.) Heading into year #2 under Coach Thibs system.

So far it looks like I was wrong.

We look more like a 60 loss team than a 60 win team.

I admit defeat and I apologize to everyone for being hopeful.

Right now I'll just be excited over a playoff birth moving forward.

Still early in the year and still a ton of draft picks to use. We aren’t stuck in the mud like years past. There is time and opportunity to right the ship.

3 games below. 500 but yet only 4.0 games back of last years 4 seed.

The East is nuts this year.

I'm still hopeful but I admit we're not as good as I thought we'd be.

I honestly hate Evan Fournier. I remember in the offseason being disgusted how we signed him.

And after Grimes insane start #1 today I dont think I can ever forgive Coach Thibs (who I freaking love) for starting EF again.

C: Obi Toppin.
PF: Julius Randle.
SF: R.J. Barrett.
2G: Quentin Grimes.
PG: Immanuel Quickley.

Let Derrick Rose run the 2nd unit.

But imo that starting lineup has potential to be? Fun!

Sorry, not interested in getting exposed like last year.

This team has no real all star, our 100m dollar man is a big time dud.

RJ is a bust for a 3rd pick.

Time to reset bud.

You know what 2 teams didn't reset last year at the same point in the season? The Knicks and the Hawks cause you don't fold this easily, ever.

Knicks are playing poorly but there are plenty of games left.

What the hell was exposed last year? I mean, besides coach of the team and MIP who got some MVP consideration? I'm not super huge on RJ but if you gave up on him last year you missed a lot of good games and improvement.

You probably also gave up on the Knicks this time last year too? Did you close your eyes during the later half of the season?

The Knicks got exposed to a team that were a couple of wins away from going to the finals?

I expected high win totals as well. I felt Kemba and Fournier were upgrades in those positions and would help move forward. Now, more than ever, I wish the Knicks would have gone harder at L.Ball (Maybe they did but the price was too high. who knows).

In any case....I feel that the season is still young and the Knicks have time to turn things around but they really need to search for a legit PG.

This team is significantly worse this year compared to last in defensive ratings. The defense is what masked the fact there's no true scorer or go to guy on the roster. I don't see that turning around at all.

Randle is the type of player who's only good for a stretch, and that was last year. Him blooming pretty late in his career backs that up. He's shooting the worst % since his rookie year. Complete trash.

I personally never had any interest in being a 1st round team.

This team is currently nowhere even near that pedestrian goal.

Blow it up.

I’m going to stop hating on Randle for his play this year. I’m going out on a limb and going to say no baby asked consulted with him in in the off-season, he is emotional and has a little well you get what you deserve right now.

But…..even though he looked lost today, I thought he genuinely enjoyed playing with Grimes. Randle is ready to be a number 2 and I hope we don’t trade the kids to get him a top dog

No way. That's asking for him to completely breakdown physically and we need SOMEONE to lead our 2nd unit and close out games FRESH.

You did not do anything, so there is nothing to apologize for. We all expected way better than this from the starters. But hey, one right that everyone is born with is a right to be wrong. Think of it this way. Without making mistakes it's impossible to live. Now with the season quarter over we can reset our realistic goals. For me personally I would like our backcourt problem fixed before playoffs. That's the goal. Grimes looks like he might solve 50% of it. Great! Let's just get a PG now. He too, might be on our roster already.

We don't need to blow it up. If there is a trade that makes sense - you do it. If not, we still have a lot of young talent that can blossom in time. We have picks that can be used if/when the right opportunity presents itself. Only thing I would ask for is for Thibs to give some of the younger players more time (eg during blowouts). I'd be content playing out this season, allowing FO to reflect on Randle-focused offense and acquiring another talent during the upcoming draft.

How horrible is Zach Wilson? And Saleh is worse than Todd Bowles

We have a good young group of players, the problem are these horrendous contracts we gave out last summer

He posted regularly on a NY Jets messageboard. He got banned for saying something on Twitter that wasn’t even bad. Then I got banned for being right about Zach Wilson

Moral of the story: being a jets fan sucks so much you aren’t even allowed to criticize the team
