After losing our 1st official Olympic basketball game dating back to 17 years ago (of 2004) vs. France...

The entire world and especially the USA media immediately quit on these kids with remarks such as "the Global 🌎 World has caught up to us" while completely writing them off.

Well we've just rebounded/recovered/responded A+ while absolutely destroying both of Iran (120-66) and Czech Republic (119-84) by a combined 89 points!

We might be without the likes of some of our best USA players such as LeBron James, Steph Curry, Kawhi Leonard, James Harden, Anthony Davis, Paul George, Kyrie Irving, CP3, Zion Williamson, Trae Young, Klay Thompson, Julius Randle and yes; Karl-Anthony Towns (born and raised American) etc...

But no Country and no team will be able to deny these American kids of GOLD because the likes of Kevin Durant, Damian Lillard, Devin Booker, Jayson Tatum, Zach LaVine, Khris Middleton, Draymond Green, Jrue Holiday and Bam Adebayo (along with Keldon Johnson/Jerami Grant/JaVale McGee)

Aren't backing down from anyone and we're not only coming for our 4th consecutive Gold 🪙 MEDAL but these kids are also coming for our 16th Gold 🥇 Medal All-Time (🏆).

Today's game had me going nuts. 4 point lead @ halftime turned into a dominant 1992 Dream Team type of 2nd half while outscoring those guys by 31 points during the 2nd half and the intensity on Defense was unreal.

And now that we've qualified and advanced to the Elite-8 I'm praying to the basketball GOD's that we get our rematch vs. France because we'll destroy them by 50+ while unleashing our American anger on them

After our 1st two practice scrimmage loses I posted on another Knicks site how we'd destroy every Country by 30-50 points like the 1992 Dream Team did (I was laughed @) and even though we lost to France; we're still on the verge of showing the world 🌎 that NO, the rest of the World has not "caught up to us" and never will (and we will continue to destroy every team by 30-50+ moving forward).

Me and my 10 year old daughter (she plays little league basketball and is a BEAST SF) watch every game together and she calls this squad "The Dream Team" because they're the most talented and the greatest women's basketball team ever assembled and I couldn't be more proud of these girls because our American women are the most talented, the strongest and the TOUGHEST girls within the entire world.

We've absolutely loved watching Sue Bird, Brittney Griner, Breanna Stewart and Diana Taurasi (my daughters basketball hero) lead team USA while backing down from no Country (50+ consecutive wins) and looking for our 7th Consecutive Gold Medal 🏅 and 11th Gold 🏆 of All-Time.

Hopefully come 2024 we begin to send our NCAA college girls into the Olympics because this just isn't fair.

I'm sorry but I can never root against our team USA and American kids (during the Olympics).

Rooting against an American player during the OLYMPICS all because of which "NBA team they play on" is not only Un-American but imo it's bush league.

I remember being 7 years old in 1992 and rooting for MICHAEL JORDAN because he was representing team USA.

And I had a blast rooting for Kevin Durant today (as a team USA teammate) who didn't turn his back on us like LeBron James, Steph Curry and many of others. He was absolutely magical today. And now the All-Time USA Olympics leading scorer (kid is special man).

And you'll root for Frank an NBA and NY Knicks BUST over team USA? That's funny because A.) Frank didn't even play vs. USA game 1 and B.) Team USA will destroy them 40-50+ during a rematch; so have fun rooting against team USA while rooting for France and your little BUST (Frank).

To each our own but once Kevin Durant put on that United States of America jersey? He's no longer a Brooklyn Net and 100% one of my favorite USA basketball players.

You do you, but KD was unlikeable well before he put on a Nets jersey. Would be absolutely shocked if Team USA didn't win. Just no attachment to this team. Really wish Canada made it, would have loved watching RJ.

To each our own but I don't understand how one could root for one of the biggest lottery Knicks BUSTS of All-Time in Frank and FRANCE over team USA and all of our American kids.

And say what you say about Kevin Durant but as an American ball player he didn't turn his back on team USA (like 90% of our superstars did) and he's playing his ass off for us.

Much prefer to see international competitions in hockey, where there is a bit more parity, though I could care less about the boring thuglike NHL product.

I was nervous throughout the entire 1st half. Late 2nd Quarter we were losing by 9 points and I thought it was finally, over. And then during the last 2-3 minutes of the 2nd Q USA went on a 7-0 run to tie it at halftime.

And from there the route was on USA dominated 2nd half and won by 14 points.

Not the slaughtering I was hoping for but was a really exciting game and team USA showed nothing but heart, fight and team work while coming back from down 9 to win by 14 (23 point turnaround).

Rubio set an Olympic record for points scored against USA All-Time (I believe 38) and Olympic Rubio could. Not. Miss. He was fire 🔥 for Spain.

And say what we say about Kevin Durant as a Brooklyn Net but as a USA teammate he's legendary and without him we would've been eliminated a long time ago. 29 points (10-17), 4 assists and 2 rebounds; he saved our USA team from elimination today. And I'll always respect him for not turning his sports back on America as so many Superstars have recently done.

I hope we get FRANCE during a REMATCH in order to redeem ourselves after blowing a 7 point lead with only 3 minutes remaining; I really want to ELIMINATE those Frenchmen.

Can't wait to see our USA girls do their thing tonight my daughter been so excited all day to watch this game she went to bed @ 7:00 and made me promise to wake her up at 12:30 so she'll be awake for the game 🤣💜🏀🤣

I was feeling absolutely sick to my stomach. Down 15 points in the 1st half. I thought it was all over. I thought we were going home.

And then something magical happened. Kevin Durant happened. And everyone else followed his lead.

Team USA turned up the defensive intensity while down 15 and ended up demolishing Australia by the score of 97-78 (after trailing by 3 at the half).

Down by 15? And won by 19 points?!? That's a freaking 34 point turnaround and that 34 point turnaround was as DOMINANT and as exciting as I've ever seen.

Many of our American kids stepped up big time but none like KD. Kid dropped 23 points off 10/19 shooting and 9 rebounds. He was awesome.

USA in the Gold Medal game when everyone said we couldn't. Everyone said our C team wasn't good enough. Everyone said "the World has caught up to our American game of basketball". Well. They lied to you. Because these foreign born basketball players can't hold our jockstrap. Can't even wash it. We're better then them @ their own Fiba game.

Both our USA Mens and Womens basketball team is bringing home the Gold 🥇🏀🪙. The world has "caught up to us" my ass.
