And sip the kool aid. You'll get less gas.
By the way, Melo did play this way. With less.
Melo did NOT play this way. Show me how.
The season he led the team in assists. Forget which one. Melo is looking more like that player in Portland. In a reduced role.

that was a fantastic season for Melo. No hate. Thank you for that brilliance Carmelo.
That said, who ya got? Who would you rather build around. I'm taking Randle. Why? PER is higher for Melo - 21.7 versus 20 for Randle in their age 26 seasons.
For me - Randle does it beyond the arc, high post, low post, on the glass, and by moving the ball. He does it with finesse and he does it by being a bully. And he does it as a stretch four which was what was needed from jrod's boy. So I am going with Randle, with absolutely no disrespect to Melo. To be very clear he does not get enough love, his 2103-14 season:
Season Age Tm Lg Pos G GS MP FG FGA FG% 3P 3PA 3P% 2P 2PA 2P% eFG% FT FTA FT% ORB DRB TRB AST STL BLK TOV PF PTS

so step away from the ledge, Melo is a historical great, I recognize that. Look at the above line, holy ****
