Don't know who he would replace in the rotation, but if they want to add Ball, I guess i would do frank, Bullock, dsj, and a 1st
He has not played well and not happy and wants to be traded. Would really like to be traded to the Northeast, where his offseason home is in Brooklyn. He’d love to go to Brooklyn, the Knicks, Boston or Philly. That has been communicated out there. It’s been known for a week or two.

Fine player, but too old to make any sense for the Knicks to acquire given their development path.

You would trade a valuable first round pick for a disgruntled old vet not playing well (who I like a lot) and a potential bust??? Get out of here. Lol

Yeah redick for Payton I wouldn’t trade any youth or picks for a 36 year old on a down year ... but trade Payton and our shooting percentage just sky rocketed opens the door for quick and gives us a three point specialist we need ...peanuts for peanuts

lets give up a first round pick for a guy who's 36 when the Knicks are at best fringe playoff team... but you also thought playing Trey Burke more was the fastest path to 50 wins.

Is that what i said, or did I imply only if they add Ball, because DSJ and Frank have next to no value whatsoever.

I don't value 1st rnd picks as much as you do because we have a history of getting it wrong

He’s garbo. I’d take Bullock over him.

We probably shouldn't have fired Fizdale either as we have a history of getting coaches wrong

Right now our FO history with picks is EXCELLENT

Can someone please poke my eyes out now?

So, we are going to get Ball and Reddick for two players (1 going to the G-League) that can't crack the rotation on a 9-13 team? Ain't happening. Want no parts of Ball or Reddick any way...

Im going to keep reminded you that I have been praising this coaching staff since August

Again twisting my words, I said a history, meaning prior to this FO...and the thing about your response is that you know damn well we sc rewed up a lot of 1st picks in the past, so for you to respond like that just reinforces your troll habits.

Do you think for 0ne minute that frank for Ball would be a fair trade?

Why do you think that the history of Mills and Phil Jackson (and others) making draft picks has any baring on what Leon and staff will do?

It's the same reasoning as why you don't pre-judge Thibs and staff on what Fiz and his duds did

I don't watch NOP but it seems like JJ Redick has lost his legs?

His bread and butter is distance shooting and he is doing is at a clip that seems reminiscent of Frank circa 2018. Or, you know, RJ the first 5 games of the season when he didn't play Indiana.

JJ is shot. He makes $13M. If anything he will be bought out.

As per Ball, he is a PG that hasn't yet proven he can shoot. He is a RFA. You either believe he is a future starting PG and will trade for him to re-sign or it's a waste.

What has Ball shown that you would need to give up a pick to acquire him when you will be put in the same spot as his current team in like 3 months when he is a RFA?

Did we get Quickley and RJ wrong?

And yes, a first round pick for Ball and Reddick combined is too much. I am open to trading picks for the right value but this isn’t it. You don’t trade one for a possible bust and guy who can retire tomorrow.

You want to include one in a package for Devin Booker? OK, we can talk about that. Bradley Beal? I am against giving everything up for him but at least you are in the ballpark.

But Lonzo Ball and JJ Reddick? No way man.... and again, I am a a Reddick fan.

1248 doesn’t value first round picks like most of us do and loves veterans so I’m not surprised by this thread 😂. I’m open to anything as long as it makes sense and this certainly makes zero sense.

When the Rainman rants and then doubles down I stick a no.2 pencil in my ear. Pointy side first.
Why? It distracts from what I read.

what is funny is he likes total trash players. Reddick? At least propose to trade for picks for someone GOOD. This dude is soooo funny.

My favorite was when he said we should trade tons for Lonzo. Then like 2 weeks like watches Lonzo play and is like "this guy isnt very good"

Well according to 1248 we “always Get draft picks wrong” so we are better off trading them for an aging flawed expensive veteran 😂. I’m convinced if he was running the Knicks he would have traded 3 unprotected First round picks Plus Mitch and frank( two players he has wanted gone for 2 years now) for Westbrook 😂

HAHAHA...Thats sooo funny, you should take your clown act on the road.

If it was up to you, you would resign frank for 15 mill with a NTC and have him as our starting pg.

16#1 picks in the last 20 season and not one single rookie resign..

Millions in cap space that resulted in lottery seasons...

I love it when the lottery balls hit, then 100 threads pop up that the knicks have horrible luck, blame it on ESPN....great stuff!!
