Quickley 👍
8. Vassel
27. Woodard, bey, tilie, McDaniel
38. Quickley

( above has potential offensively and defensively with defined skill sets)

Or

10. Kira or terry and oubre ( trade oubre late in the season)
27. Woodard McDaniel tillie bey
38. Trade 38 and 27 to get the exact player you want 23-60 pick

Or Isaiah joe Cassius Stanley or a back up center/pf

In the mid range Saddiq bey nesmith riller are of interest but this required trading down and raiding the mid level picks as priority.

I like okoro and Hayes but they will be gone.

No to Haliburton and toppin.

Wow, they have Deni going 2 and Onyeka going ahead of Wiseman. I don't see that playing out, but I agree with their assessment.

Without trades being a factor, I understand the Deni and Wiseman slots. GS has wings and needs maybe some bigger wings to mesh with their current roster and playing style. And Wiseman is a big question mark and perhaps Onyeka fits better on ALT who already has Capella and John Collins?

It's going to be interesting, feel like 2 trades will happen within the top 10 picks.

No way will Lewis available @ 27...Would love one of Okoro, Maxey or Terry with our first pick. I think Okoro will be off the board by the time we pick.

If Wiseman is on the board when we pick (Which I doubt), we have to take him. That's great value @ 8. We need an influx of talent and assets. Wiseman gives us both.

We could use Wiseman or Mitch in a trade to accumulate talent, picks or both.

Re Wiseman.... Detroit just GAVE away Drummond. Now, I realize there is his contract to consider but in this modern NBA bigs have to be able to rim protect, switch onto smaller guys and space (both on offense and defense) if you want to have long term success. Wiseman still a question mark on a lot of those points. He can certainly have a place in the NBA and be a force but a lot to grow into.

Charlotte will have to pick Wiseman if he falls to them.

This would be my ideal haul if possible. We would need to fill out shooters at the 2-4

If vassel can make it go in the basket at 42 percent by year 3, get to 205 pounds and bring his defensive intangibles, he is the ideal 3@D today. He will cost you about 20m 4 years from now. I don’t care how his form looks if it goes in at 40 percent.

I think Drummond while useful is t an offensive skill player. Wiseman imho is. I think it would be similar to many trans passing on embiid. I’ll take the player and deal s Robinson wiseman later.

Draft strategy

If wiseman available. Take him
If not take Nesmith
Over the next 3 years we have 8 draft picks — many chances to get great guards

But chance at 7-1 stud take it or elite shooter. Take it

Vassell was my pick at 8. Although my first preference was that the Knicks trade down. But yes, still like him. However, in a draft where the talent level is so close, I am starting to think that his shooting mechanics should make him more of a risk then others. I am now hoping Toppin or one of the other higher projected pick falls to us. Or like I said, that the Knicks trade down for multiples. My gut still says that Maxey will be the pick or that Rose will trade the pick for an established player.

What do you guys think about Cassius Stanley with our second-rounder. Has good 3&D potential and is a plus athlete.

I would like BPA for #8 or trade down for extra draft capital and pick Maxey or Poku then get a shooter and a back up 4/5 for the other 2 picks. Im not really looking for a PG, i would rather see how Frank and DSJ develop u der the new coaching staff with this year's development team before deciding.

I'd like to trade down also. But so are several other teams. Barring the first two picks, we probably won't see much movement until the draft actually takes place and the board becomes clearer. If Hayes falls, I think we should take him. Okoro is my next choice. I have no clear direction after that.

I really like Deni but the only way to get him is to trade up which im not so into. My first choice is Okoro but if Toppin fall at 8, I'm intrigued by having both him and mitch in the team. Maybe Obi is more receptive than KAT when i comes to learning some defense. November 18 is still a long way to go, i cant wait for the draft to finish and the offseason trades to start so we can finally see the team we will cheer for next season

I feel like the top 5 are starting to look like Edwards, Ball, Wiseman, Deni and Tobbin in some order. So I think that would leave Haliburton, Hayes, Nesmith and Vassell (depending on his shooting form) as the top remaining players on my board at 8. I had always assumed Haliburton and Hayes would be gone but it would only take 1 player to jump into the top 7 like Okoro for one of them to drop. If we trade down into the 11-15 range I’ll say Maxey or Lewis.

At 27 I like Quickley (assuming Bane and Terry aren’t available) , but I’m targeting a shooter nonetheless. These 3 offer the best shooting talent in the later first round.

At 38 I’ll focus on a versatile big because I think it’s easier to find a bargain big man in the second round. Tillie is a top target although I don’t see him being available. Same with Tillman. Otherwise I’m hoping for Bey or Reed to add some athletic ability with shooting potential at the 4. So a few examples of an ideal draft for me if we keep all 3 picks would be :

Haliburton, Quickley, Bey
Hayes, Bane, Tillie
Nesmith, Terry, Reed
