It is between him and Hayes for the second pg. He looks like the safer pick, but Hayes seems to have more upside. Ball is still the top PG prospect IMO.

His proven game efficiency and 3 point shooting make him a better prospect than Ball

No offense to the people liking Ball but TH is the #1 PG in this draft. Three years out this will be obvious. IMO I would pick TH as the only PG in the top 6, Maybe Hayes would sneak in the top 6.

I hope the Knicks take the best player available, not the best PG. It's not like we are a PG short of contending, we can use an upgrade just about everywhere, Barrett can be moved around. Next year we have another couple of #1's in a year when 18-year-olds enter the draft, so it's like a double draft.

I think the French connection has some people worried about Hayes. Haliburton is just over a year older than Hayes and Hayes has been playing
professional ball in France, right? I haven't watched enough tape to say but a year difference could be substantial. But more substantial
is projecting Hayes to the American game imo.

I love the vision and identity that he could help the Knicks potentially create. Ty & Frank's length and defensive capabilities at G when paired together could potentially be something. Ty's play style also seem like a very good match with RJ.

If we could someone add Nesmith as well. The rotation at 1-3 would hold a lot of potential as a group.

I’m very big on Wiseman. I think he’s the best prospect. I know we have Mitch but I wouldn’t bypass him

Yeah, but his unwillingness to drive the paint and inability to shoot on the move have me questioning if he's even a point guard at the next level. A divisive pick, similar to Lonzo.

Hayes was playing in Germany. Hayes has the advantage of playing for team that gave him the freedom to play and run the offense. You have to question the level of competition, but I can say with confidence that Hayes has NBA level moves. I'm just not confident in his ability to consistently drive the paint.

Funky, slow shot but he is PG I'd go with. Don't know enough about the high end with Ball but it seems like he has so many flaws: defense, shooting.

And having that 1-3 possible rotation of TH, Frank, RJ who all move the ball and Mitch and free agent who comes available after 2020-21 season who plays PF...

Hayes is a better shooter of the dribble, has better dribble drive moves and is probably Ty's equal as a passer. Ty is better defensively and might be a better spot up shooter at the next level. I wouldn't say Ty is the better athlete, but he has superior physical tools. I don't see Ty or Killian becoming top tier offensive engines from the lead guard position. I'd probably take Hayes over Ty, but it makes sense why GSW would prefer Ty. Killian is like a mini-Dangelo Russell and I don't think they want to repeat that experience. Ty has potential as a 3 & D guard and he can play off-ball, all qualities that the GSW need.

Thinking very similar. A 3&D PF to pair with Mitch.

Haliburton is far superior to Ball at this stage and would be able to contribute almost immediately on both ends of the floor. Haliburton and Nesmith sounds like a dream scenario.. both look to have long term places in the NBA. Decent playmaker and knock out shooter.

Before we drafted Frank, I said I liked the idea and concept of him, but every time I watched his highlights I was not sure at all. I get that same feeling with Hayes- I like his write up, but when I watch the highlights- he just looks a bit slow

It’s maddening when you think that PF could have been KP- shame it didn’t work out (doubt he would have tolerated another losing year this last season). Would have loved to have seen a front court of KP and Mitch

Too many questions in Hayes from me. Haliburton not Uber quick but I see him as being superior at this level. See Haliburton as potential elite defence.

Great tape on top 3 pick Ty Haliburton
