Worth pursuing? Had to deal with a foot injury (Team USA?) hasnt played well. Maybe time and a change of scenery will help.

I read his offense has suffered due to PG play. His split with Rondo on and off the court are drastic. Still his defense is trash. Morris is better right now. I'm meh on Kuzma. I'd understand if we traded for him, but I wouldn't give up a lot. Maybe that freaky hair cut is playing a lot in my opinion of him right now lol

I am warming to the idea of Kuzma. Let's say the interest is real in Morris and the Lakers and Knicks work out some sort of deal. I think I like Kuzma and Randle as starters and Knox developing behind them has some long term potential. Morris is better, maybe they value the leadership, but I just think they have to free up minutes so Knox can become whatever he's going to become

The money diff will be an issue. We have to take back to make it work with Morris.

Not that you can given the money, but conceptually Morris is a forward and Kuzma is a forward.

So we give up our most valuable trade chip playing the best ball of his career for a injured player who doesn't play defense and needs a change of scenery, because the best team in the West isn't good enough for him?

Then again we ARE the Knicks.

Hello no. He sucks. I'd much rather ride out with Knox.

Knox isnt ready for prime time. We would be trading for a much younger player, with time to get better defensively. Wasnt really a priority in LA before Lebron got there. Moat of their offense is James and AD. Kuzma can get buckets, we need that badly. If he puts up giod numbers, but still no D, and Knox ia ready to start, you trade Kuzma.

Having said that the reasons given for passing on him are legit. Believe his first few years on an F'ed up Laker team didnt do him any favors.

Lakers need a stretch forward to shoot better than What Kuz is to now. They need to open the middle for Davis. Morris would improve that.

Far more interested in just signing Brandon Ingram this Summer..... and I’m not even 100% sold on that.

Ingram is guaranteed the max... Kuzma is still on his rookie deal for another year, biggest bang for your buck

Ingram sounded like a happy country boy in NO. Given he didn't care for LA, what are the chances he'd blosson in NYC. Seems like a cultural mismatch.

I'd prefer Kuzma to Randall. At least Kuzma, can handle big city expectations.

He only makes sense if you move both Morris and Randle. In theory he's a solid 4 next to a wing like Barrett. He's young and a proven 18-20 ppg guy. But you need to move the other guys and commit to surrounding Barrett, Kuzma, and Mitch with a backcourt loaded with shooting and playmaking.

Kuzma is already like 25 and we will have to pay after next season. Possible THJ situation...if he even gets to that level. Kuz has been straight booty this season. I'd rather go with a Shamet, pick centered deal with the Clippers.
