Yes baby!! Both picks before us are injured. We might have gotten the best player in the draft 5 years down the road.

Welcome to the Knicks.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Who knows what will happen in the offseason, but a DSJr/Barrett backcourt could punch above their weight, if the shooting touch is there.

They both like to push the ball, both willing passers, both play above the rim. Throw in Knox and Mitch, and that looks like a playoff sleeper. That is with a few vets, like Jordan, to name one. Need more experience.

Great Point Gustav. I think RJ is gonna fit well with DSJ and bring out more in his game. John Calipari said that it may take a couple year but teams will regret passing on Knox. He was so young and raw that of course there were ups and downs but he has a bright future. I love Mitch!!!. I think Perry has done a good job and im happy to hear that he isnt being pressured into handed out huge contracts to 2nd tier guys

I know I'm alone here but a frank and RJ would be huge. RJ can be ball dominant and frank can lock people up

Don't know much about Barrett on defense... Smith/Barrett at guards, and Knox at SF might have defensive issues, I would think.

I don't think we give up on Frank yet. HE has talent. He can shoot. He can defend and the one thing he actually showed is that he is a real PG.

Two things knicks1248 hates more than anything. Not trading all our draft picks for veterans and not trading frank lol

He just needs to learn defense, which I think will come. Dotson and Thomas are not going to let him get away with not being focused on defense and I am confident Fizdale is going to be on him about it. Duke was in a lot of blowout games, so at times, he was really indifferent about defense. He needs to up his focus on that end. It is can turn himself into at least a decent defender, he will be a star for us.
