![]() one of the other things that frustrates me with oakley is that his experience with dolan isn't the same as everybody's. tyson chandler has spoken about the owner letting him fly across the country to be with his mother who was dealing with cancer. there are former players working with the organization so dolan has it in him to be good to people. he just makes sure those he doesn't like know he can't stand them in return which a lot of the times is unnecessary.

I frequently disagree with James Dolan and his basketball operations but I don't question the man's heart. I imagine its difficult to run the Knicks in NYC, especially when everyone has a loud opinion. I can personally vouch that he's a good man... if I had a chance to speak with James I would let him know that he needs to develop a relationship with the press. I think sometimes he treats the press as the enemy and as a result he doesn't get favorable basketball coverage. I think the big reason he gets treated poorly is because he hasn't interacted with anyone, so myth becomes fact and now he's in a position where he's always on the defensive. I'm also a big Rangers fan and James has been a great hockey owner. Unfortunately though I don't think he got off to a great start with the Knicks and things have just compounded DLeethal wrote:
