True but I don't see how the players put the team first when the head coach is throwing players under the bus left and right
Also, like they say on The Wire,a man's gotta have a code. What's Fizdale stand for - I don't really give a damn what he says, what do his actions show me? Is what he doing right now going to take us to the ECF next year? I don't know but it's debatable.
1st off, Kanter has been throwing his teammates and coaching staff under the bus most of the season with his tweets and comments...
The Knicks haven't made the playoffs in 5 years; we have completely bottomed out this year and you expect an eastern conference finals next year? That's Ariza level delusional
Agreed. Kanter used to be a favorite of mine but this season the comments/whining/complaining has become annoying. Hell it started even when he was playing a lot
It started when it came out that Kanter's goal was to make the allstar team...He set a personal goal for himself, not a team goal...So his disappointment with his lack of playing time doesn't have much to do with him trying to help the team win, but more to do with him getting his numbers...
True. We have had many guys sit for a few games. Mudiay,Burke,Frank,Dotson all went through it and they NEVER complained, they put the team first. I guess i bought into Kanter when he seemed like a team leader but obviously that was nonsense
Mudiay was Never benched, he was injured and Why would those other guys complain, Im mean serious dude..
Kanter is a 7 yr vet, and since when is striving to take your game to an All star level considered selfish..the whole damn team should be thinking like that.
Thats why the FO is so fckd up and going in circle's, they convince their young players to embrace losing, don't worry about losing, just go out there and play...like your in your driveway
