i agree. what he couldn’t add of course but hopefully is thinking: “if we have any hope of dumping timmy without losing assets or incurring costs we better find some way of building up his worth.”

is that really the timetable you’re working off? for me it’s being a .500 team next year (which we haven’t been in a long time), a solid playoff team the next, and an ECF team the following.

The Knicks haven't made the playoffs in 5 years; we have completely bottomed out this year and you expect an eastern conference finals next year? That's Ariza level delusional

Timmy will be traded and we’ll whine about how good he is playing and we gave him up for beans.
He’ll be on a better team.
Fiz inherited Timmy. Losing situation but if he is confident yoot getting reps is the key to the future I’m good with that. Can’t see it, taste it or touch the future.
Enes is about Enes. Always was. I doubt we ever had intention of resigning him. He opted in. Don’t forget, HE OPTED TO BE HERE. HE got paid. We owe him nothing.

True. We have had many guys sit for a few games. Mudiay,Burke,Frank,Dotson all went through it and they NEVER complained, they put the team first. I guess i bought into Kanter when he seemed like a team leader but obviously that was nonsense

Kanter is a 7 yr vet, and since when is striving to take your game to an All star level considered selfish..the whole damn team should be thinking like that.

Thats why the FO is so fckd up and going in circle's, they convince their young players to embrace losing, don't worry about losing, just go out there and play...like your in your driveway

Rainman, kanter was never gonna be a all star plus he should be thinking about the TEAM not personal goals. Like i said those young guys didnt bitch and moan and unlike kanter those kids actually give effort on defense. Nobody is embracing losing

Rainman, Kanter verbally said he wanted to be an allstar. Does his defensive improvement demonstrate a commitment to the craft of playing both ends of the court?
Contract year verbal boast. Posting Doubles on a winning team is not the same as basement dwelling. YOur picking sides with Kanter because you want fodder for your anti FO agenda.
And once again, Kanter opted to return for $18mm. Knicks did not offer to extend he or have him opt out and do a long term deal. He said he wanted to be here. Did knicks tell him he was wanted beyond the contract? He was trade fodder for Melo. He as moved from Utah and OKC for Melo who was a disaster for OKC and Rockets. Deal with the the reality. Knicks are not ruining his value. Every team has tape on his defense. His play values and devalues.
