Houston has 2. When we get 1 wake me up because were going no where without 1. And in terms of fantasy Frank N is 2 years away from being 2 years away--from what Im not sure.

Yes. Good teams also have other good things.
Guess what, we are not a very good team. Last year we had a 33 year old allstar on the way down. This year we have a 22 year old all star that plays defense too!
We have a rookie PG that is only 19. We don't know what he will be.
History is what it is and we can't undo it. Like most things Knicks can put some nice short term improvements but they come with ceilings.
This is a history we are familiar with. Melo for assets, Amare compromise, Defected Starbury, Dice,......etc.
We know what you are clamoring for. IT2.
This is not a thread discusson, its you Whining again. Nobody argues frank needs seasoning but the anxiety derived from a future uncertain and the ensuing redundant posts are very telling. Take a chill pill. Go volunteer and feed the hungry. Knicks can't turn this around quick enough unless they lower the ceiling. Then you'll want us to draft someone.
We get it, you watched Trae Young and Curry last nite. You want.

Cleveland doesn't. Neither does San Antonio.
Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

How many losing seasons and PG’s did the GSW go through before they got it right? Curry should have been a Knick by all accounts because who expected GS to select a PG ahead of us when they were already stacked at the position. But, GS isn’t the team they are today just because of Curry who strugled his first few years in the league. They consructed a young roster that defines the style of play in the modern nba. They also never gave up on Curry even when he strugled

Trading our 2019 1 pick to move up and get Denzel Valentine comes to mind.

Who would you get? (That would be available) The only one that I thought was worth trading for was Irving.

Parker is coming off the bench and missed a good chunk of the season. The greatness of Patty Mills and Dejounta Murray still managed to carry the Spurs tho.

Right now I hope we sck enough for a chance at Trae Young. If I can get I Thomas for reasonable to look at for 40 games--Ill do it--I might be serious about Tyreke Evans after season in FA--Im not to sure past that point. We dont have a really great player which is also a problem. Thj and KP are good--not close to great. I mean our most consistent player is Beasley. A really good PG make other players better--might help KP especially.

Right now Im thinking that we might be making a mistake trading Willy.

He was good. Real good in fact. But he hasn't been that guy for the past 3-4 years.

Of course we need a good PG. Just reading what you wrote it doesn't look like a PLAN. Perry no doubt knows he has to move out some of these vets and try to get as much value as he can. This roster is going to have to be fully built around KP, THJ and Nitty. That means this team needs a LOT of talent. This is not a WIN NOW situation.

I don't know if it's possible for the Knicks to fall into the top 5 Lotto spots. We can't depend on that. 1st Perry has to makes some trades to clear out this roster and hopefully get some young assets and picks. We need more Athletic Ability overall. Knicks will have a chance to rebuild with more Multi Skilled Wings and long athletic PF/C that can move. We have so much Below the Rim talent. Gotta change that.

Does Murray being groomed as a rookie now in his second year.
That's how you get good PG's.
easier to install them on good teams.
Have to start somewhere!!!!

Of course it would be a mistake! He's better than KP!

HofstraBBall is dead right. While an Irving trade didnt really make sense considering where the Knick's roster is you have to make that move, or if you disagree at last acknowledge your getting top flight talent back. Irving is a real star. Not a 1-time dimming star with a balky hip who is not tall enough to ride this ride.
