And for who? What is this anyway? A bunch of bull****. If my uncle had a vagina he'd be my Aunt.

The real story is why is Kawahi faking his injury? There's speculation that he's not really hurt. This takes me back to Alridge requesting a trade in the summer. Is something going on in the can do no wrong spurs organization?

Wow! I'm tempted to call BS, but I can't help but wonder how bad things are getting in the Spurs organization. First LA, now this.

That's old news from SAS. He claims they wanted KP and frank and would have pulled the trigger. And if it happened you know people would say the spurs did it again. Best young core in the league etc. We should be happy we got the guys Pop wanted to trade kawhi for. At least according to SAS.

I tend to think this rumor from SAS might be true. We will never know, but seems like there's more to this Kawhi drama than we realize, and better believe that Pop could build his next great team around KP and Ntilikina. And i'm glad it won't happen.

Had Kwahi on my fantasy team, made a trade for him when he was expected back that Friday. He seemed healthy when he played. He claimed he wanted to play more and play more consecutive games while he was on his min restriction. Then they shut him down.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski and Michael C. Wright of ESPN, Kawhi Leonard and his camp have been described as "distant" and "disconnected" from the Spurs.
Advice: According to the report, "Months of discord centering on elements of treatment, rehabilitation and timetables for return from a right quadriceps injury have had a chilling impact" on Leonard's relationship with the front office and coaching staff. Wojnarowski adds that "there is work to be done to repair what has been until now a successful partnership," so the Spurs find themselves in rare territory for a franchise that is considered to be one of the best in all of sports. Spurs GM RC Buford has refuted these claims, but did add that this process has been "difficult for everyone." The superstar forward remains without a timetable to return as he continues to rehab his troublesome quad injury.

Leonard will be out indefinitely as he continues his recovery from a leg injury.
Advice: Leonard has played in just nine games after missing the beginning of the season because of right quadriceps tendinopathy. He also was sidelined briefly because of a shoulder injury. Spurs general manager RC Buford said Wednesday that Leonard has made significant progress in his recovery but ''this is the best approach for the next steps in his return to play.'' The All-Star forward is averaging 16.2 points this season.

The Spurs announced on Wednesday that Kawhi Leonard will be out for an indefinite period of time as he continues to rehab from right quadricep tendinopathy.
Advice: "It hasn't responded the way we wanted it to," said coach Gregg Popovich. "You try to react to how he feels after the games he's played in a little bit. It just hasn't gone as well as we've wanted it to. So we're going to stop him for an indefinite period – I don't know how long that will be – to get more strength and hopefully get him back on the court." This is very concerning given he's only appeared in nine games this season, and Pop's quote seems to imply there's a chance he might not be back this season. Owners in leagues that don't offer an IR-spot have a tough decision to make.

Coach Gregg Popovich said the Spurs are expecting Kawhi Leonard (quad) to return at some point this season.
Advice: Leonard is out indefinitely, but it does sound like he's looking at an extended time off. Considering how careful the Spurs were with him before and how he's only played nine games, it's fair to guess he's not going to play before the All-Star Game. His owners have to hold him and trading for him isn't the worst idea, assuming you're not giving up an elite player. Kyle Anderson is worth an add in 12-team leagues.

Leonard is not on the injury report for Wednesday's visit to Brooklyn after he sat out Monday in Atlanta with a quad issue.
Advice: He wasn't on the initial injury report Monday, so it could have been a case of Gregg Popovich simply managing his biggest star.

Kawhi Leonard (quad) is not being listed on the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Nets.
Advice: Leonard also wasn't on the injury report on Monday but ended up being a late scratch, which was apparently due to his "return from injury management" program. He'll have had three full days off going into Wednesday's game, so he should be able to get out there barring a setback. Check back for another update following Wednesday morning's shootaround.

Kawhi Leonard is "bothered" by his quad injury and is questionable to play on Monday vs. the Hawks.
Advice: He just can't catch a break and neither can his fantasy owners. His shoulder seemed fine in Saturday's game, but this quad injury has been an issue since the offseason. Don't be surprised if the Spurs hold him out in what should be an easy win. If he sits, Kyle Anderson and Davis Bertans will step up with LaMarcus Aldridge carrying the offense.

Kawhi Leonard (quad) will not play Monday vs. the Hawks.
Advice: This is the same quad issue that delayed Leonard's start to the season, and it's extremely concerning that it's become an issue again with how careful the Spurs have been with him (he's played in just nine games this season). The Spurs take on the Nets in Brooklyn on Wednesday, and for now, we'll be considering Leonard questionable for that one. With him unavailable tonight, Kyle Anderson will draw the start with LaMarcus Aldridge doing the heavy lifting on offense.

Kawhi Leonard said the reason he didn't play on Monday was due to the Spurs' "return from injury management" program, and not due to a flare-up with the quad issue.
Advice: The Spurs have been extremely cautious with Leonard this season, not allowing him to play unless he's had two full days off in between games, and that's apparently the reason why he sat out Monday's game (he logged 28 minutes on Saturday). Hopefully, this means we can expect to see him back on the court on Wednesday in Brooklyn, and owners can expect to get another update by Wednesday morning's shootaround at the latest.

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said he was surprised that Kawhi Leonard (shoulder) was in such great shape on Saturday.
Advice: "He's looking confident in his body," Popovich said. "He wasn't winded tonight, which surprised me. He's coming along well." Leonard has played in consecutive games only once and has not played on less than two days' rest, but he said he "needs to string some games together" and that he's remaining patient as he works his way back to 100 percent.

It may have been more about Leonard being injury prone, than anything. This other stuff may have been unrelated. Might have been on good terms before the last injury.

It's the Spurs trying to get a steal, like they always do.
They got KL for Hill.
Now KP/Frank for KL?
Pop coaching Frank, Parker mentoring him.
KP in Pop's system playing the Duncan role?
Come on man, that's a great great trade for Pop and the Spurs and they were trying to fleece Phil Jackson.
Thankfully Phil never took it.

I'm assuming this is back when we had our eight pick and KP was being shopped for skipping the exit meeting.

There's no smiley, so I'm wondering if you would seriously do that trade now?

Uninjured Kawhi would have been the Alpha for Phil's triangle.
Pop with a fresh canvas for KP and Frank would have been heralded as a brilliant move.
Frank would also have Murray. Frank would be sitting this year and learning. Its about developing.
Kawhi was 13 pick and needed a few years seasoning. Its not like he was great out of the draft. (hint)
Knicks would be nauseous over His injuries this year and KP's numbers. Would Aldridge have stayed? Don't know.
Many ramifications to such a deal.
Give Frank 2 years and have an imagination.

Exactly. Can't believe people think Pop wouldn't make that deal. He would love to have KP and Frank.
