Appears the Cav's are wanting the usual post all star game run after a roster tweek. IT2 defense is not good (hip? Rust?)
Lebron had a good relationship with David Griffin but not so much with new GM Koby Altman. I'd imagine this is by owner's Gilbert design who won't let Lebron run the show without a commitment to resign.
Why would Cav's trade the pick if Lebron is bolting?
Kyrie was right to leave Cavs, he IS THE MAN this season!
I don't see knicks being any players with Cav's unless they want KOQ, Clee or Noah for a run. Cav's don't have much to offer us?

Briggs favorite player IT. Considered a worse defensive player than someone who, in cleveland, was considered a really bad defensive player.

Briggs, we know what he was like that one year when he was healthy. But we also know he probably won't ever be that player. Have you looked at his numbers lately? This is why you can't fall in love with a guy when he has 1 good game (or vice versa.) If you sign a guy like this for near max money, it can set the franchise back so much. A streaky offensive player who is a horrible defensive player on the back end of his career is a recipe for disaster no matter how to look at it.

I said Id look at him and his health and would be willing to spend a LOT of MONEY if he regained 29-7 form. 1 game he was good or bad? Who was in the ECF finals last year? Hint--not the kNicks.

One player off the bench--one player starting? People have short memories. IT started for the ECF Celtics last year--if it wasnt for him they would had no chance to be there--last time KNicks were top in eat and ECF 1994 TWENTY FOUR YEARS ago.

No you were ready to sign him to that contract after his couple of games returning. You made a thread each day stating such. Which is why i was saying you can't judge 2 games. He is not regaining his 29/7 form most likely, and i don't think he would have even without the injury. Look at his career. He has done that once. No other year is anywhere close. Add the injury and he is a poor gamble. But you saw him play 20 mins a couple of games in his return and you were sold.
