Where does it say this happened in Africe or they are working out and not merely goofing off?

Not sure working out with a HOFer makes you a better player. It won't hurt but was the "all-star guaranteed" just a joke? Didn't Hakeem work with all our front-court players a few years ago?

Hakeem worked out with Amar'e and it definitely helped his post game. KP working out with Dirk is great.

Amare spent more time with Hakeem than any of them, several weeks. Paid a handsome sum for the privilege.

KP looks "Less lanky". His legs look like they now match his upper body.
The kid is filling out. Maybe 10lbs, who knows. nothing that dramatic.
Thats a good thing!!!

What is still shocking is watching him one forgets he is seven foot ****ing three!! and he is doing stuff I never saw anyone do at that height!!
Dirk was a stiff at 22 in comparison!! Not saying he'll play as long or be 6th all time scoring but from a physical perspective its just still amazing!
If he can keep to about 70+ games per season and keep his diva tendancies in tact the unicorn can be for real!!!
Nalod is a fan.

I noticed that too. He definitely looks like he is gaining mass. I was tired of seeing guards push him around on the perimeter and bigs overpowering him in the paint. Hopefully, he now has enough strength to do some damage in the paint.

And Dwight Howard and Javale McGee.I think it helped Amar'e in particular.

Right. Amar'e was very gung ho about training with Hakeem and improving his post game, cant really speak to the others. Enough to spend 100k for 2 weeks worth.

It was a case of too little, too late, but I admired Stat for working at it like he did, taking it seriously. It definitely showed, even with his bad knees.

Im sure KP is taking the same attitude with Dirk. He's been trying to schedule some training with him for a few years now.

More like guards ( smart) pushing him around in the paint

fishmike 9/27/2024 11:00 PM Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years. First Leon move I hate

Looks good. Hopefully he is also working on post up game with no dribble as Dirk did.

IMO, if dirk has at least a somewhat similar length, then there is nothing wrong with at least taking pointers and seeing if he can practice those skills against good defenders in practice.

Amar'e probably improved because he never really had a post game then learned from a master. Dwight already learned a post game from Ewing before paying Hakeem. I get he wanted to learn more but he probably simply didn't learn THAT much more from Hakeem.

Have to disagree with you there about Howard, he never had a post game. Watched most of his games with the Magic. What he did have was outstanding athleticism for his size. He never seemed too interested in taking his game to the next level.
