Another short, cap friendly contract. We need a vet to mentor Frank. Milo is the top pg in Europe in his prime. He finally wanted to come play in the States. Did we even talk to him? It would have been a perfect situation in NYC to mentor another Euro player on how to be a professional and play the right way.

12 million to play in LA? for a team that consistently makes the playoffs.....a team that needs a starting PG. A winning fan base and owner with a good track record? How could anybody not understand this signing?

If he decided to play elsewhere because of a better situation and an opportunity to play with more talented players and make the playoffs, that's fine.

But I heard no reports that we even reached out to him to give him the option?

Also, good luck getting past the 1st round in the reloaded West on the Clippers.

I dont think learning how to play the right way is an issue for Frank. Adding strength and craft to beat his man off the dribble consistently and finishing around the paint is the bigger areas of development.

here's a look at your president mills career

Career[edit]

Mills played professional basketball in Ecuador for a year.[2] He worked for the National Basketball Association for sixteen years beginning in 1984 after having worked at Chemical Bank. Mills ascension while at the NBA was notable. He was an account executive in the corporate sponsorship department of NBA properties and program manager for NBA properties. He became vice-president of special events, after which he was senior vice-president of Basketball and Player Development,[3] Mills then became Chief operating officer and Sports Business President of Madison Square Garden in 2003.[4] His duties at MSG included supervising day-to-day operations, including finances, business strategies of the NBAs New York Knicks, NHL's New York Rangers and the WNBA's New York Liberty. All sports related activities were under his jurisdiction, including boxing, college basketball and track & field.

In 2009, Mills left MSG and joined Magic Johnson Enterprises where he helped create the Athletes & Entertainers Wealth Management Group, LLC (A&E).[5] of which he was a partner.[6]

On September 26, 2013, the New York Knicks announced Mills would be the executive vice president and general manager of the organization.[7]

does that resume look like a guy you can trust to build a successful team..Give me a break

I said mills never reached out to him, and that's negative or reality..everyone he reached out to has been reported, there was no report of him reaching out to milos. you tend to try and spin every thing I say into a negative..

At first I thought it was $12.3M per year, but that's the total deal. Not bad, especially if the team has an opt-out after the first year.

Agents know we are not overpaying anybody right now....And I'm sure every discussion is not documented....Mills is loaded with networks....and this is the first time we have been linked to so many people. So let's assume our offer would be the same, it still doesn't get FA to move. We are shopping in the clearance aisle. sometimes u miss out on good deals.....and sometimes agents know we in the clearance section.

honestly, I know little to nothing about this milos guy, someone posted about him yesterday as a good option.

I never heard the knicks having any interest him at all, but then again, people post their wish list on here as if the odds are in the knicks favor.
