Oh totally agree. I can totally see Dolan bringing back Isiah again. I never lost sight of that.

I would drain the swamp

Mills gone
KP for best package
Complete tear down

If u thought melo and KP were divas before they now have been rewarded for intransigence

They may not hate them now. But if Knicks cannot win right away, they will.

Hate Melo. I'll hold opinion on KP but he's on notice.

This is on Phil. The Knicks were historically bad. I think Dolan was ok with a Melo trade. I think the buyout, trading KP and resigning Rose was just too much. The Knicks have been at the bottom for roster continuity, front office ratings, and as a destinations toon for players. The thing that is always scary is who is taking over.

Melo is still who Melo always has been. A great offensive talent that doesn't always play as hard on defense, partly due to effort, partly skill, partly coaching.

He has an NTC, so unless there is a deal that he accepts, he is here next year. That is fine with me.

Hopefully, he opts out of his last year- and as management, I would egg him on by saying whatever I needed to.

There is absolutely no way he opts out of his final year, no matter how egged on he gets. Yes, he's already rich as all hell but he's toeing a fine line here. He's never going to see that money per year again, plus he's going to go through a divorce (With I believe 3 kids involved) with someone who is going to attempt to raid him of as much money as humanly possible. And you think he's going to opt out?

Yes, there is a lot working towards Melo not opting out.

However, even with a divorce, the man is sitting on generational wealth. I can see him opting out and moving to a team, much like KD did, and trying to win a championship.

I think that is less a stretch of our imagination as thinking he would waive his NTC clause and go somewhere.

Thought, I can't help but think there is someway we can move him to Houston for Ryan Anderson & Filler. Which is not gutting their roster to get him there.

Did you read the full quote? He and I are happy Phil is gone but we haven't gotten anything yet since we don't know who the next president will be.

I think the divorce is on hold.
I agree though. You don't give up 27 million. Crazy deal he got.

I'm glad you guys are happy. We now have Mills running the show, Dolan looking for a GM or president (something he has a lot of experience doing at this point), and Melo and KP rewarded for intransigence. Great!!

As I said be careful what you wish for because you just might get it.

You know the first time KP doesn't like something he will pull the same BS again.

No one said anything about being happy. It depends on who is hired to be the next pres. I don't think if you are really bad at your job that you should be able to keep it because the guy that is hired to replace you might be worse. I have read good things about Tim Leweike who is helping with the search for the next pres.

This is the definition of knicks fans having no patience. Dirk wasn't even an all-star in year 3.

Now what? Are fans going to love or hate melo and KP
