Knicks to workout Iowa St PG Monte Morris.
They're clearly looking hard at PG's that they could get in the lottery and in the 2nd round. |

Caleb Swanigan will be coming in for a workout with the Knicks. Another big man PF that defends and can hit the 3. It seems like Phil just can't get over him missing on J.Crowder cause all the big men the Knicks are interested in are good defenders that can hit the 3 pointer.

The more we look at the players in this draft it cements the fact that this is a talent rich draft. You don't have to reach or outthink yourself. Do your work and make your board. They will have options and hopefully they get some luck with guys falling to them.

There's guys getting mocked going in the 2nd round that look like they can be NBA starters almost instantly. Now of course there will be busts in the 1st and of course 2nd round and even players taken in the lottery will bust but there's no exact science to this cause you just can't judge how bad any of these kids really want it. They're all gonna say the right things in their interviews cause they have agents that sit and go over what to say in these meetings but you can't judge how bad they really want it and if they'll put the kind of work in during the season and in the off season that it takes to start in the NBA. If the players that most expect to be off the board at #8 are off the board then i really wouldn't mind if we traded down some in the 1st round to collect more picks in this draft and future drafts. I see guys going in the mid to late part of this draft that could easily be as good or better than some of the kids projected to go after the top 4 or 5 guys in the draft. Donovan Mitchell I hope Phil does everything he can to trade guys like Melo, KOQ, C.Lee and whoever else not named KP or Willy to get more picks in this draft and future draft picks but i'd love to get one or two more in this draft. |

Bam Adebayo and Antonio Blakeney worked out for Knicks today along with Swanigan and D.Burton. H.Diallo was supposed to work out for us today but didn't for some reason.
