Right now teams are going to see how much they need a guy like Melo. Paul George, Blake Griffin and Gordon Hayward will be first. Then Melo will get his look.

Melo to the clippers doesn't make them better, every NBA analysis has already stated this, and JJ is a FA, blake is an injury waiting to happen and if he opts out he's not even a trade chip, the cavs are not giving up anybody or then end of the bench guys, the Celtics can fill their needs with this coming (likely 1 or 2 overall) in the draft. they are more less looking for a big man.

To add on, after listening to kobe and Jordan over the last few wks about their rocky relationship with phil, but in the end it was all mind games. phil is not releasing him, it would be the dumbest move in NBA history, nobody waives a player with 55 million on the books.

Phil is not building a 35 win team this summer, and phil already knows KP isn't close to being ready for a bigger role at the expense of winning, plus he is clearly not that durable.

Melo miss just 2 or 3 games due to injury this season , that's more than any of the top 20 players in the NBA

There are a lot of moving pieces that has to happen, most of which the draft order has to play out, opt outs and team options have to be rejected or accepted, then teams can sort out the possibilities.
What makes sense is just letting it play out but your personal conjecture as a troll offers little other than an outlet for you anger.
Basically now any deal done will be "PHil could have gotten a much better deal". Your a clever troll!

Back to content: I can see where Melo does stay. It does not make sense, but it could happen. His personal life matters, the team and draft matters, and perhaps he gets the fact he will be benched. If that is not acceptable to him then he has to widen his list of teams. If not, Phil should do anything stupid to the detriment to the team to accommodate him. For all we know Phil and his knick minions are all hard at work but its not for our consumption. Most just thing PHil is shrooming out somewhere and just chill.

Dude kill it with the trolling, I just thought about some possibilities, and stated in my post, if you disagree so be it, your views are different then mine, what else is old. The dudes contract is ridiculous, and he has a NTC, when you take both into consideration, it doesn't take a basketball guru to see it's not going to be remotely easy to trade him.

I never bashed phil, just like phil said he never criticize Melo, he just endorsed negative articles about melo. IDK what the fck phil is doing because he flips the script every chance he gets. EVERYBODY here is making assumptions, or hoping such and such will happen.

After the ALL star break the Rose Haters where speaking about him being gone next season like it was a no brainer, then phil states there's mutual feelings, and now the haters switched up and focus all the trade talk on melo.

I knew the knicks still wanted rose, or else they would have traded him for Rubio straight up or whatever pieces needed, or just waived him out right. Once they waived BJ and not Rose, I new they were considering bring him back because there are zero options in FA, just like last season and really no reason to keep him around
