His defense? Will he be a liability?

Although his defense is suspect and he's small his long distance shooting has really come around since he took off that mask he was wearing. I'd take him over Sasha or NDour right now.

His defense is just as good as Jennings....both small. But randle will spread the floor and would be our best 3pt shooting PG. He's not a playmaker like rose or Jennings. Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland.
The future is bright, I'm a Knicks fan for life!

Is he better than Baker? I doubt it. Seems like Baker is doing ok at PG and we don't really need a 4th PG unless someone else gets injured. Not every undrafted rookie is going to turn out to be a decent NBA player. We have done very well in that category recently.

I don't think the question is who is better, but, will Randle fit on this team. That answer based on his limited run is yes. |

But it's tough to rely on so many undrafted free agents. Kuz, Baker, Ndour, Plumlee, and now Randle? When the roster increases from 15 to 17 next year, it will definitely be helpful to take a flyer on more of these guys for sure. |

Well, I think Baked passed his audition...again, so it would need to be someone else preferably a guard to keep roster balance. They should just make Sasha an assistant and be done with it. |

He's way down the list and doesn't have much of a clear role. I like the guy but we can't keep all of these guys. |

We should move a big because, including KP, we have 5 of them. Noah is the obvious choice if we can find a taker. I wouldn't mind getting Crabbes here lol.

Man 9-11 from three is nice ... beats watching LT brick wide open looks over and over and over again...

Would not mind seeing Randle brought up for a look, but would like to keep Ndour around.
Baker pretty much duplicates what Sasha can do, and not only does he have an upside, but he satisfies Phil's desire for a Triangle ready guard, as I think he can play the Triangle lead guard position like Sahsha can. Would not mind Sasha being kept on as some kind of assistant, if possible, but I think his time with the Knicks should be at an end as far as a roster spot. EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?

Randle is not going to be The Guy with the Knicks so scoring stats are meaningless to me. I want to see him contribute in other ways. I do think he has a future in the NBA though
