For a team like ours which is in many ways a "win soon" team, any kind of issues which affect his play are bad, of course.

On a fan level, though...I like to like my players. Took me some time to come around on Melo, but he's stepped it up in so many ways, and I feel good about how he's carried himself.

Once the season evolves, and assuming Rose plays well, I guess the trial will be forgotten, but it still makes it tougher for fans, and as someone said, the kids as fans issue can be a serious one.

I agree about melo, he was billed as young brash ego centric player, and he still might be, but as a person his public persona has matured and have grown to accept him. He has grown up some and we have to accept guys can change.
As for Rose, he comes in with some similar cred but this business with his girl is much different that anything Melo came to town with.

Im not saying he is guilty cuz there is not criminal proceedings, but one don't go to a civil trail for money if completely innocent either.

And despite all that, the judge filed to continue with the case. She waited two years before finding a lawyer who would take it. On the surface it looks sketchy but there is enough "doubt" to warrant a trail.
That's my only point. Go to trail, nobody wins. Details of his private life will be exposed (insert Draymond joke here).
