Oh snap:

http://www.newsday.com/sports/basketball/knicks/knicks-to-introduce-joakim-noah-courtney-lee-brandon-jennings-1.12017654

They could add No. 13 by bringing back Sasha Vujacic, who is a safe bet to return, a source said. Vujacic knows the triangle offense, can play both guard positions and wants to be back. He’s close with team president Phil Jackson, his former coach with the Lakers, and with Porzingis.

Is this true?

the most important thing is that KP likes having him around.

In my mind, so this is just my perception, it would be ideal to have three Point Guards on the roster: A veteran starter, a veteran backup/starter (in case of injury to starter) and a talented young backup to keep in line, be developed and also could step up if needed.

We already have young veteran starter Rose and young vet backup Jennings. I would go for a young PG like Chasson Randle or Tim Frazier (isn't he available or something?).

Sasha was one of the top 20 fastest players in the NBA last year according to Synergy. Once he started hitting his shots he was a pretty effective player. He knows how to play in the Triangle at the right speed and aggression. He moves the ball and cuts hard. He can help in practice and in the locker room.

Way whaaaaaaaaaa?!?

Maybe its just the fact that he reminds me of that awful PG rotation. Maybe I'd just like to have a young PG to develop. But I'd rather give the spot to Randle.

I would sign Sasha, Baker, and Randle. Why not have all three? We have the roster spots.

Sasha plays the Triangle FAST. That is important to get up court and into the action quickly. That was a huge problem last year. He should fit perfectly with what JH wants, if they bring him back. He's a good reserve to have on the bench just in case and in practice.

He's an end of the bench guy. What he brings to practice and the locker room is more important than what he brings on the court. If we ever have to rely on him for major minutes (like last season) we're in trouble anyway.

we were like 4-30 when he played, and those 4 wins came when afflalo was hurt in the beginning of the yr..I know he looked pretty decent once he got the starting position, but he made no one better arnd him when he was on the court, In fact everyone else played auwful

roster filler. just like mindzingus and plumlee
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Well said. When Sasha started, the season was over.

yup. but let's say he has to start 10 games... he probably will stink for half, be okay in four, and have one game where he just hits everything. In a situation where we're just screwed we'll all be glad he's back

True

I'd just like to develop a PG. But its true about his practice and locker room presence.

The only game I attended last season in February, he seemed like the only Knicks player — certainly the only guard — who knew what was going on with the playbook. I am A-OK with him back!
