Then factor in his age--the guy is a NO BRAINER for the Knicks as a guy we can use with KP and Noah. I dont trust KOQ and let me see Willy come close to putting up a 43 PER in SL or do 20-20s in the D league. We need a guy like this--a guy who has range out to 3 yet has post skills crashes the boards rebounds defends--this is the biggest NO F brainer out there.

BBall Insiders wrote up his performance yesterday. He won't be unsigned for long. It would be great if the Knicks signed him.

Pretty sure Anthony Randolph had similar stat lines in the SL. The thing about both of these guys is can they think the game. All world physical talent, can they put it together?

I thought you didn't use Draftexpress?

Problem is, nobody here can sign Christian Wood to the Knicks.

I liked the guy a year and a half ago. I had him going 6 or 7 most of the year last year until he measured at 205 pounds and out of shape(dropped him into the 20's) But everything you read the guy has been dedicated to working hard since last years failure--and if so-if he is now indeed 230-235 pounds the way hes playing--the guy is a high lottery talent sitting there waiting to be picked up. This is Hassan Whitside part 2. Now which team is smart enough to grab him

This is a thread that states--our biog league team has been intensely risky putting itself together. If it fails and it could really crash and burn--it wouldve been prescient to use slots 14-15 to build the under belly of the team with the best young talent we could get our hands on. From what I have seen---Wood would be a rotational player for the Knicks today--now as back up for KP and Noah

Youre into neuro science? Everything I have read about Wood is that he has worked very hard this off season. On top of it they are two very different skill players.

Which is a good thing? No.

Do we want it to crash and land softly in the 8th seed?

Knicks just added a player no one saw coming yesterday, and they still have 3 to 4 roster spots left. Maybe they will?

Okay, cool. Let's go ahead say you convinced us. We all heed your wisdom.

are you kidding me? sometimes these super-stat summer league/d-league players are absolute trash on the big stage because they don't have elite athleticism and play hero ball like they're Russell Westbrook. There is a reason Jimmer can't stick in the NBA

Philly is not going to let the kid sign anywhere but their team. So relax a little or the kids going to put a restraining order on you

I'll give it to you.....You haven't changed since I signed on in 04.....Keep going man. This is an open forum, speak your mind like always.

I'm not up to date on Woods, but it's going to be difficult for the knicks to pick a player on your Briggs list, because you have about 10 different players or more every year that has potential. Regardless who the knicks select, they will always miss out on a player you talked about because you talk about all of them.

This year it's clear, Phil wants to add young vets.....And if they have the same upside as a rookie who's wet behind the ears, he will pick the young vet. We can complain until our heads fall off, but Phil has his plan....If only there was a better way to get your voice heard by Phil, I would help you. But at this moment, I can only control what I can control, which is my enthusiasm about this new starting 5 and a refreshed bench of solid players with upside. The new guy from overseas who's 26 is a prime example. I'm sure he has this guy ranked higher than Woods, and both have similar potential. The main difference is experience.....Both are young players with potential.

Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland. The future is bright, I'm a Knicks fan for life!

Fully behind this. How can you not be?!? If you're a Knicks fan and a knowledgeable basketball fan in general, how the hell do you argue an idea like this?? Great call--very good player identified for one of the remaining roster spots to fill considering what money we have left to offer. To me, you fill the last few spots with the best of the remaining talent out there and even though the roster has taken shape for the good the last couple of days with Willy and Kuz, you still take the process of filling out the remaining spots super serious. Not only is Wood one of the better remaining frontcourt talents out there, he also fills a need (I too am not convinced in KOQ--I continue to consider him a 3rd unit big, out of the rotation, hoping we can land a better option. How can you see O'Quinn any other way? Dude was very disappointing last year).

"Between the ears" has nothing to do with skills...has to do with decision making and understanding when to use those skills. You know this.

If the guy's BB IQ is low, I doubt Phil is going to make room for him at this point, IMO, and I am someone who said I might take a chance on him in your other Woods thread.

Does this sound like a player with low basketball IQ? Can you show me anything this year that shows he has a low IQ? Or maybe he tried to coem into the NBA at 18 and was overwhelmed and now gets it at the ripe old age of 20? He was loud and active defensively from the back line, altering several plays with his length and strong timing on help defense.

Lets remember as an executive Phil has done nothing yet other than going with his scouts advice on KP. This new roster has a good % of potentially blowing up very hard--but we cant hold that as excuse.

RIP Crushalot😞
