I like Russell Westbrook, Greek Freak, and Gordon Hayward and whatever stud from Kentucky, Duke, or Kansas we could've landed if we piecemealed this year. Doesn't look like Phil's going in that direction. |

Hoping on the draft year after year is not really a plan. If it comes naturally and you have your picks GREAT, but Phil didn't have all of his picks. You can't just NOT TRY to win. NYK fans are so full of crap cuz when we don't do anything people complain. This team is getting better with these moves even with the risk of injury. IMO this team will win games and possibly go on a deep playoff run. |

Look at lakers this year As exhibit A and they have some of the rookies you're talking about You could also look at philly or minny. In fact I'm curious if it ever worked (5)(7)

Not spectacular, but he is supposedly a character guy, and we don't need spectacular stuff from our SG with the team we'll put on the floor- only consistency. If you could tell me that Gordon would average 70+ GMs/yr over his career as a Knick, I would probably take a chance on him, but he's not even come close to this over his career. EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?

They will not keep this structure. I find it ironic that for critisms you make on many players that you are a Hayward fan. I like him a lot as a fan but I'don't imagine he'did get killed here as he is quiet limited as a player. |

Better off showing them you have a team in place and add 1 guy. Haven't we learned anything from 2010? Players don't want to join forces on an empty team. Better off taking a chance with Melo, KP, Noah, and your 'mediocre' SG staying healthy and playing well and making the playoffs and plugging in a max PG from there. If not, hopefully Rose shows enough to resign. It's about taking chances. You will never be happy with anything the Knicks do that is realistic, we understand that, but it is what it is. There are plenty of teams who like to rebuild the other way that could be enjoyable for you to follow. |

And if two or even all three say no, then what? |

Rather piecemeal this year with cheap flexible contract scraps like Randy Foye or Gerald Henderson or Gerald Green and players of this caliber than get stuck with "name" players like Noah and Gordon who will both be in a 3 piece suit half the time for multiple years. Should've had eyes down the road for 2017 instead of this suck ass class. |
