Thx for posting. Good to see Early back looking like he did in Summer League. I still think he's gonna be a useful bench player as he continues to develop. Especially with more uptempo guys on the roster. He still needs to work on his offense so that he has a bit more creativity. This system does help him in that he isn't the most skilled offensive player but he has to add a few more moves IMO.

I was really very impressed with Bachynski. I would like to see him on the NBA team next year. He looks so much better than when we 1st got him. He looks like another RoLo in how he plays.

Trice looks very solid as well.

makes zero sense that early (and others) are not getting a chance to play in a lost season. really really stupid.

If he can develop into a Sg at 6-8 that would be nice. I think the transition from college 4 has been tough for him

Very little about this team makes sense.
And when the draft happens this year and we see our potential star PG go to a team, that won't make sense either.

There was an article about this a week or so ago- Early was saying he didn't have his conditioning back yet, which is why he was sent to dleague (can't remember if he'd also been ill recently or something). DLeague makes sense at this point- get his conditioning and more importantly get his head right (takes a while to recover from the trauma of being shot and learning to trust his knee again.)

Makes PLENTY of sense! This is just a way to let him get his game back on his own pace. I don't think you're being fair to the Knicks at all in this case. Dude is just coming back and getting big minutes with the D League is just fine. You don't have to be with the big team to develop your game or get a chance to build your conditioning back up.

I still don't understand how you can get shot in the knee and essentially have no damage done

cause he didn't? I think it was in leg (near knee) but didn't hit anything important. So maybe a deep surface thing? I can't remember exact details.

All the stories at the time said he's been shot in the knee which is why I found it odd- your description makes more sense

The question is, did he go to a shady night club to celebrate? I hope never again.

It's too bad they don't have a system in place in the NBA to be able to expand their rosters at the end of the year. Which is what they do in the MLB. Big difference is that minor leaguers in MLB are already contracted by their big league afiliate teams. However, I am sure D Leaguers would do it for free in order to showcase themselves. Would make it entertaining for fans of lower tier teams to come out and watch the last couple of weeks. Better than the empty stands prevalent in most of those games.

how about before he got shot? How about last season? And its not just him. Why haven't we tried out other kids in a lost season?

Lance was a Fisher favorite. I believe Early got shot before Lance's knee issues started. He did look really good coming out of camp but even with Fisher's expanded rotation Early never got on the court.

Right, Early not exactly a SG and SF is filled with DWill, LT, so minutes limited.

same, and I don't know why but I still am following and am hopeful for Thanasis. Lot of big, wing type players who really excel in open court. Athletes who hopefully can turn into triangle basketball players with a good enough jumpshot

I like Thanasis as well. I would hate to see those players go to another team and do better than what people expected. I still see a lot of potential in them. If phil could give Lance Thomas a chance i don't see why he can give Early or Thanasis the same.

me too and for reason other than gut. Just wish he could get some PT on this horrendously crappy team. Makes zero sense to me though it seems to make sense to others. Don't care where he is in the depth chart, we know what the others can do but have no idea what he is capable of.

Do I really need to see Sasha play?

You think Early ready for the SG spot?
