After last night's game? Anyone? You know the one where the ESPN guys asked him what the keys to his success were this season? KP said really two things were key for him... anyone catch that?

They asked him what were the factors that allowed him to play so well and adjust so quickly to NBA basketball. He said two things... 1) His family and their support. 2) Carmelo Anthony.

LMAO

I kid you not. While you think this may brought me great pleasure it really didn't. Only cracked me up. But it was telling as we the fans are so in the know about the toxic environment, the hands on his hips, the throwing his teammates under bus... yet there is the most important piece of our franchise on national TV and what does he say?

Pretty funny huh? I may youtube it from my DVR recording and post in every one of Guns, VMart and Chuck's posts

Don't worry, they'll come up with 500 posts explaining how it's all staged by CAA, and "what did you expect KP to say?"

Also, Melo acting like a great teammate and mentor is even more reason to trade him now! Sell high!

Now we need:

a guns +1

dtkf7th to explain morally how deleterious the long term effects will be on KP of having any exposure to the Melo at all.

Bonn to show how Melo's salary is a bad influence on KP and his family.

I started a thread a few months back explaining how much Melo means to KP and his development, and they responded with a melo trade idea..lol

Hey, I'm having fun being mediocre! Look around, you're in the group of the severe malcontents.
It may just end up being a very long, long three years of increased Paxil for you and your cronies.

Don't worry, melo only had a few rebounds, and only 5 assists. His trade value should still remain the same for today.

This is correct. Those who want to trade him underestimate what he means to KP's development. KP would take a step back without Melo mentoring and taking pressure off of him.

Latvians are very polite as straight people.
Almost all of them are from farmers background.
If Melo will not be around KP will say same about Robin or AA.
His strong site is understanding of the value of experience and that leadership cannot be developed overnight or assigned.
The leadership grows organically.
He is learning from Melo on what NBA star/leader should be and what he should not.
One day he will be in Melo shoes. Most likely 2-3 years from now.

The Feed2all feed I was watching froze after he said something about benefiting from his 2 years in the Spanish league and I did not see the need to refresh it to see the end of the interview.

So this was only a rhetorical question?? I never answer such questions...much too manipulative, IMO.

More suited for a speech or sermon, than a thread, I would think.

The best answer would have been Fisher and Sasha...now that would have turned some heads.

As long as he doesn't give credit to a Supreme Being for his success after every good game he has, I'm not that concerned about his answers.

He seems to be well schooled as far as interviews...it will be interesting to see if any interviewers can get him to say something bulletin board worthy during his career. He's very Jeter-like or David Wright-like in how he fields questions.

Yeah he said his family and Melo which he always says. Did you hear Rambis talk about how great he thinks KP will be one day?? He always talks about how great he thinks he's gonna be but he really spoke highly of him in his post game comments last night.

Guy's take his media savvy and advanced maturity at the young age of 20, as a tentpole for their StayMe7o agendas.

"Ooh the respectful humble dude that will never say a bad thing about a teammate or coach in the 15+ years he plays in this league said respectful things about his teammate" Melo must be a reason!

Hilarity.

People need to look at last nights game in the way of that's how we can play when KP and Rolo play well and help Melo and if you add two legit guards this could be a really good team. Our front court is set with Melo, KP and Rolo. I'm hoping that a lot of the free agent guards that were off last night watched that game and listened to the announcers talk about how good we can be if we had a couple of good guards cause it was talked about quite a bit last night. We were getting help from just about everyone that played last night and the shots were going in which hasn't been happening at all since we were at 500.
anyone catch KP's post game interview?
