2007 and 2011 were worth whatever comes next in terms of getting the Giants back into contention. My prediction on the day Eli was drafted that he would win three chips with the Giants likely won't come true, but 2/3 ain't bad.
Fortunately, we still have some talent on the team at WR and CB, we have a motivated JPP, a young O-line that started playing MUCH better late in the season, a RB who is starting to get into the swing of things (e.g., 170 yds in a meaningless final game).
If Reese can get his 3-4-5 round picks better to add depth on defense, we should be able to fill needed holes at safety, LB and Def line with the $50mil in cap space we'll have in the off-season.
Wish we could snag Sean Peyton as HC, but agree it will probably be McAdoo since Eli isn't going to want to learn a new system at 35, particularly when Ben's system works so well for Eli. If he had another quality receiver to work with, would have been a different outcome this season.
