One thing: I think the Phil Jackson comment that Stephen A latched on to comparing Porzingis to Shawn Bradley was actually one of those Zen mind tricks - meant for KP to hear and meant to motivate him to go out and prove he wasn't Shawn Bradley. Just a thought.
Also Stephen A is just like most Knicks fans - he's not a reporter, he responds to stuff emotionally. I dislike it, but I recognize I do it myself sometimes. ¿ △ ?

he's a rabble rouser and a propagandist.
not a fan though it is entertaining. his take on marbury a few years back is hilarious. knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

im not a big fan of SAS but i have to defend him here. none of us saw KP play overseas and we were told that he would be a 3yr project. i was not happy with the pick simply cuz of my ignorance of never seeing him play (and i thought mudiay could help NOW). but boy am i pleasantly surprised - and YES this offense should be turned over to KP with melo playing the sidekick role
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

His Euroleague play was on record. There was never any reason to buy into the project narrative and there was plenty of info available not to. |

But SAS wasn't the only one saying KP was a three year project. That seemed to be the take by most 'experts'. SAS has a job because he is provocative. I loved Aldridge in his role but I guess the guy just didn't bring the drama enough.callmened wrote:im not a big fan of SAS but i have to defend him here. none of us saw KP play overseas and we were told that he would be a 3yr project. i was not happy with the pick simply cuz of my ignorance of never seeing him play (and i thought mudiay could help NOW). but boy am i pleasantly surprised - and YES this offense should be turned over to KP with melo playing the sidekick role I'm tired,I'm tired, I'm so tired right now......Kristaps Porzingis 1/3/18
