I have not laughed so hard in a long time

I think it was 8 or 9 steps.

Aside from all the extra steps, it really looked liked a great shot

These travels really hurt me to watch because they are so blatant. Obvious travels and the constant ignoring of moving picks irk me like no other. To get called for a moving pick you have to be wrestling the defender. This is the main reason why PNRs have become so deadly, 80% of the picks are moving.

Yea there was also a play where wade was baseline three and took five or six steps bouncing from one foot to the other it was just as bad

This isn't even on the bad end of uncalled travels in the game. Was actually hoping this would be a foul example.

Yes, I would love to see the star treatment Melo gets on moves to the basket.

Great, people travel in the NBA. Great discovery there, Copernicus!

I don't care about the travel, it looks like Seraphin would've had a clear dunk attempt if he'd passed it earlier instead of shooting a contested 3.

It's that tunnel vision that infuriates me. He can be a GREAT passer, but in this gif you can see he's eyeing down Josh McRoberts the whole friggin' time.

I counted 6. He was going to take that shot no matter what. That's the old Melo playing playground ball with Wade.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

what was sad was that seraphin did not even bother to continue to the hoop. Its as if he KNEW that there was no way Melo was going to pass it (and he wasn't) so he detoured and decided to give Melo a pick!

Mind bogglingly dumb all around.

He saw Melo's eyes were looking at the hoop only already, so Seraphin reacted accordingly.

Though he takes half the steps of Melo's travel, Greek Freaks is probably more egregious by the sheer length of the travel. Goes from the 3 point all the way to the hoop without 1 dribble. That's actually impressive!

Yea. He basically does the triple jump from the 3 point line.
