How does comparing Douglas to Porzingis over one game make sense?
Sure, he could be traded. So can any player in the league.
This idea that we are going to trade him 15 games into a season where he is our most important player other than Melo and is leading the team (something you cannot say about Douglas, ever, nor any of the other ex-Knicks you listed first, honestly) seems a bit odd, or like a jilted lover.
Z-Bo was traded because he was a cancer who was trash here, and flourished (good for him) in Memphis. How is that in ANYWAY the same thing??
How about Rod Strickland? You left him and whatever bazillion other Knicks that have been traded. This is not the same leadership nor mentality that dictated moves back in the day.
David Lee had major weaknesses despite that trade to GS being awful.
