He is hustling his azz off and fighting through screens really well. Very happy with his effort this year.
Pleasant surprise to me. His passing has also been good. Over all,he has been leading as a true leader. This Carmelo might end up leading this team to a deep playoff run. He just needs to regain his forth quarter magic; this is where all great players earn their money
deep playoff run? I think that is the issue with your thinking and expectations. If they were more rationale, you would not be blasting us with so many fisher rants.
This team has the talents to get there. What I worry about is the headcoach.
This thread is about Melo's defense please don't turn this into another fisher sucks thread. I hope that Martin and Andrew put an end to this soon.
Have I been disrespectful to any of you? I am just voicing my opinion as a fan. I will be the first to embrace Fisher once I see improvements
THIS THREAD IS NOT ABOUT FISHER ... DO YOU GET THAT?
how many coaches has Melo played for? He's playing his best defense of his career at age 30+ for Fisher. Sounds like good coaching to me.
I feel like Melo is simply shooting less early. Seems like his mentality is simply wait until things open than go to work. He's moving the ball very well. He's got more energy in a reduced role and its translating to defense. He's always been a good last possession type defender because the guy can play, but your seeing more of the rest of the game and that's a must.
Melo is trying and he's putting effort into answering the knocks on his game which are passing and defense. Good thread. Give guys credit for improving their games. Give coaches credit for facilitating. GOOD JOB MELO. GOOD JOB FISHER.
