Knicks have played 3 on the road, 2 at home, has only played 2014-15 playoff qualifying teams with three of them (the three losses) all being arguably elite teams.
Most fans would more than likely have signed up willingly for a .500 record (41-41) for the season, even the highly-critical, highly volatile ones.
The point is, THIS is how you play .500. Was anyone expecting 41 good loses where you come away satisfied the Knicks played well but just were out talented?
No, EVERY loss is a frustrating one. If they get blown out they likely played terribly. If thy lose a close game, there WILL be a player(s) who didn't perform well or a coaching decision you'd second guess or a lead blown.
There is NO good loss. But again, in more than likely ideal circumstances, the Knicks are GOING to lose 37-38 more games JUST like Atlanta, SA and Cleveland.
More than a few of those losses will be bad games against bad teams. More than a few will be lost in the 4th quarter. In more than a few of them the bench will be awful. In more than a few of them the starters will be awful. THAT's how you lose 41 games in the NBA.
THIS is .500. If the Knicks could fix all the complaints about the SA and Cleveland games, they'd be an elite title contender.
Get used to this.
Big picture.
