So if we had a chance and this is what we did--we missed in a huge way.

He would be fine if we didn't run the offense through him. That's not what he does well.

Briggs: A classic article on your new favorite player, derriere extraodinaire, Greg Monroe http://nypost.com/2015/03/29/phil-jackson-pal-knicks-need-bigger-butt-than-kentuckys-towns/

Didn't you spend months saying we shouldn't sign Monroe? Oh is this like when you spent months saying we shouldn't draft WCS, how he'd be a disaster, and then after a couple of Summer League games said he was going to be great?
In fact here's a quote from you: Best of luck watching the slow Monroe and the offensively challenged Stein get spread out and the Knicks can exploited like the Pistons did this year playing two bigs in. http://media.www.slicksports.com/forum/topic.asp?t=51426&page=1 Lopez isn't a problem for me- I see him as a Luke Longely type, who can easily be moved to backup when Porzingis is ready to assume the starting C spot in a few seasons. He's a place holder for me. |
