He certainly does. Ive always been a fan and felt he was a steal at pick 34,. I think injuries held him back last year

Early looks like he could turn into a player similar to Gerald Wilkins, if he works on the holes in his game.

He needs to be more aggressive when it comes to attacking the basket. And on defense, he needs to show more attitude
Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

He's done a lot of work. It shows. I hope he keeps working.

This is more like the guy I expected last season. I'm glad he fought through the injuries and disappointing rookie season.

there really was no reason to expect that much from a rookie, no?

He has looked great. He was so disappointing last year that I thought the Knicks should look to trade him. He recently said that he thought he knew a lot going into his rookie season but realized he didn't.

I never really doubted that he'd start to play better given his injuries set him back last year. He needed time to get better and more fully develop his game. Even last year he had moments where you could see the talent. Now he's finally putting it all together and part of it is good coaching. Fish made it clear that he had to give max effort on D as well and he's been playing much harder and fully using his talent. This is what I expected he would eventually look like since that is the kind of player he always was in college. He was a high energy player and it's good to see him playing loose and aggressively on both ends. It's been a tough learning curve but he seems to be on his way to reaching his potential.

With Early, Porzingis, Grant, Galloway, and I'll even throw in Travis Trice who really impressed me tonight the future of the Knicks is bright!

I always thought it was odd how people on here were so quick to throw him under a bus, glad he's showing signs of developing - who would have thought young players take more than a season to improve!

I was outspoken last year that he was a much better player than he showed. You don't go from being a go to guy in a strong conference to what we saw last year.
The kid is athletic, has a pretty good shot and now is playing defense.

I expect him to be getting 15 minutes a game the first half and we will see from there. He is a potentially nice scoring backup when Melo is out - I know that is asking a lot but as far as the 2nd unit goes, him and Derek will have to score.

He has displayed better footwork, control, and angles getting into the paint. Needs a couple of go to finishing moves to complete the cypher.

Keep the energy and confidence up and he can do some things and add needed speed on the wing.

Why would you be so quick to want to trade a young dude after just one year??

so he had a good game and now we back on the "early train" of love? This guy has looked clueless BUT.....
if the coaching staff sees progress and can see him gaining progress then its all good.

Funny, we as fans see something and think "thats it"!!!

Same for Jose slow play. As if there is no way he gains confidence or instinct back in his game after being out for so long.

To be sure, Early has had more than 1 good game, and even in the first few there were decent moments.
