The player shouldn't get punish for something the franchised allowed. It's up to management to make the decision weather they want to allow something illegal to continue on, when they have full control of the situation, and i hate brady.

Could spell the end of Goodell's reign as his power is diluted. Owners have to figure this one out. Punishment will likely be done by a committee?

You kind of figured it would get reduced or completely overturned from the get go once it went to federal court.

No. Friggin. Evidence.

Broken phone bla bla, NFL and Goodell got their asses handed to them by Brady and company, and I'm a die hard Jets fan. Even when we root against the enemy, it doesn't work.

Only solace I can take is I drafted Gronk in my office fantasy football league. You can bet 10000% Brady-Gronk combo will run train through the NFL. Over/Under at 20 TDs by Gronk.

I think Brady's suspension was originally handed out by an arbitrator. I also believe that the NFL Punishment system is becoming a joke. Hardy gets only 2 games for beating his woman and then threatening her life so she didn't show at the appeal. Peterson got a season but is back in action after beating his 3 year old with a whip. A guy like RJ Dill gets 4 Games for undergoing Testosterone Replacement Therapy under a prescription while he is not even in the NFL. It's all Ass Backwards.

The investigation work on the NFL side was spotty at best. Every time they came out with some to gain public opinion it was easily refuted by Brady's side.

I believe Bill B was in on it... no doubt- he may have even been the mastermind.

Three positions are affected by the ball pressure- QB, RB, and all receivers.

Patriots have had an amazing fumble record since the rules regarding the balls was changed- primarily to allow QBs to condition balls before a game- but also allowing teams to have more control handling them pre-game. I expect Belichick saw he could exploit the situation.

But guys are ignorant if they don't think Brady was involved- he would have the final say since his play determines how good the Pats play. Of course maybe we should just blame the 2 guys who were fired.

This ruling was about the process, not Brady's guilt or innocence. NFL should have conducted it as a criminal investigation and been more aggressive...I wonder how much their CBA hindered this?

Brady and the Pats are always pushing the envelope on the rules. In the end I don't care about Brady getting a pass on the suspension. I wanna beat his ass straight up anyway. Let it be settled on the field.

never liked brady, and i relished every hit my g-men, tuck, osi, strahan & co. laid on him in our superbowl victories. you could almost hear the "OOOOOF" through the television. same with montana, same with elway. loved seeing those dudes get their heads handed to them.
knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Even this past year the pats looked aweful to start the season then all of a sudden they became the best team in the nfl after even the fans were calling for Tom Brady's head. I didn't buy it for a second. Once a cheater always a cheater and I wouldn't be surprised if they cheated this past season after the terrible start. Each one of there Super Bowls deserves a big * unfair advantage . The nfl is a joke if Tom Brady and belacheat were in the mlb they would be ban for life for the first stint they pulled .. Was happy they never won again after getting caught in spy gate . Until they cheated there way back to a super bowl this last season .

At least they are the most hated franchise in the history of sports.. I hope belacheat and flat Brady never get elected into the hof .

I hope Tom Brady gets crushed into a career ending injury ... Cheaters don't deserve mercy just pain

I'm ok with what Brady did. It's stupid to give teams footballs and let them scuff air out and whatever to the football. The officials need to bring footballs that both teams have to use. I always thought it was a stupid idea to allow teams to prepare footballs to their liking.

No - a Giants fan and season ticket holder for 20 years so you don't have to feel sorry for my team's share of Championships. I really got no skin in the game. But I think all this Faux Outrage that you and other express over Brady is pretty funny especially considering that the NFL is stock full of its share of PED Cheaters, Wife and Kid beaters, guys with DUIs, guys with illegal guns, and other various illegal activities.

Around pro football fans circles outside the metropolitan are because NYG and Steelers in recent yrs won Superbowls!
