Dude's wearing a stupid "Sustain Shirt":

Wears Sustain, but can't Sustain. Gets tired after 22 seconds....Oh the IRONY!

...doesn't bode well for a 82 game season.

Man, is there anything Melo can do that won't upset people on here? Jesus. He's criticized for the way he goes about high fiving children now?

Buy into the system and win games for starters.

At least he looks like he's having fun with CP3, D-Wade, and Lebron on a banana boat here:

Professional athlete can't run continuously for the alloted time.

Strahan has to remind him there's still time on the clock. Either he's lazy or out of shape or both.

I don't get this thread. Don't know why Chuck is even watching kids awards show let alone even trying to show Melo out of shape.

how does a guy average 25-29pts a year in the NBA for 12 and say he is out of shape?

Im not even saying everyone has to like Melo, but if your gonna be funny, then be funny.

Big thing Im getting here is why is he even on a kids award show? Why do kids like Melo? His name? The hats? Is he just a celebrity kind of guy?

They weren't asked to break the Guiness Book of World Records of high fives in 30 seconds, unfortunately Melo only ran for about 20 seconds before forgetting or catching a breather.

So Melo's fat, lazy, out of shape and has sub-idiot fashion sense. And his agents have ensured he's a glory pig.

How about the scoring and the rebounding? That doesn't count?

ChuckBuck, what turned you bro? The contract? The All-Star debacle? The knee surgery?

All the above my man. Watching San Antonio and Golden State win with their brand of the ball.

He's simply who he is at this juncture of his career. Low efficiency, volume scorer, sometimes plays D, sometimes remembers he has teammates.

Anyone that can watch Golden State play the way they play and then say they prefer watching one guy jab step for 10 seconds is just being delusional and rooting for the name instead of the jersey.

And anyone who can't see the difference between Thompson and Curry / Ginobli and Parker versus Shump and JR is a blind front runner. Tell me, did you become a Dallas Cowboy fan during the Staubach years, or did you start wearing Steelers hats during the early '80's?

Funny, weren't you posting in YouTubeMelo more than almost anyone else? WTF was that, two whole years ago?

Yup. I even owned that I created the YouTube Melo post and was probably Melo's biggest fan in another post and explained why the sabbatical and distain since.

It's not the players, jrodmc, Golden State employed everyone on their bench. Forget the top of team, guys like Brazilian flash, Ezeli, Speights, and Livingston all chipped in and made that ride enjoyable to watch.

It's simple really...look at the last 2 Finals MVPs and tell me if if team ball doesn't work.

Not sure why this thread exists. Other sports stars were there as well.
Carmelo Anthony, Derek Jeter and many more of the nation’s top athletes will take a new stage at the second annual Kids' Choice Sports Awards this Thursday. Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson will host the awards show live from Pauley Pavilion at UCLA where Stephen Curry, Serena Williams and LeBron James are among the night’s nominees. Executive producer and Nickelodeon veteran Jay Schmalholz talked to The Hollywood Reporter about what’s in store for this year’s awards, and revealed the new stage setup. Among the things to watch for during the event:

No argument there, ChuckBuck...team ball almost always works. Don't need to go anyfurther than LeQ's Cleveland history or Iverson for confirmation of that. I still get woody's watching old Celtic film from the 50's and 60's.
My point is, you need a team to begin with. Iggie and the bench are going absolutely nowhere without those two megastars. Kwame is winning chips with that SA bench is he?, without the Holy Trio?

Melo's got some actual gawddawn, non-gimmick quality this year. Instead of desperation starphucque wanna-be signings and one-off, make believe stars. Maybe, just maybe this year, you can return from sabbatical.

Your thread, martin and I will be waiting. All will be forgiven.
