#4 Russell

That would be fine by me.

We could either keep him or trade him for an absolute kings ransom. as in high pick flip with 2-3 additional 1's and a player. Nothing less. And if no one pays up keep him.

Hahn on Porzingis. Someone in Philly is probably saying the exact same thing.

Would be surprised if they took Porzingis- I would expect them to trade down, but who knows with that team. They really need a PG. Any free agents fit the role?

I think LA will take Russell, especially after the OK4 workout.

Obviously LA saw a lot more than we were allowed to see, though.

If Russell shines in his own workout, I think they just might take him.

The Knicks say they have liked everyone except WCS--thus they love WCS.

Safe to say that none of us know what Phil wants.

Big butts on offense, defensive bigs, penetrators the key to the 3...and a complete blackout on work outs- who knows what he is actually thinking.

Don't let Nix hear you say that! If Russell fell to us, I would believe for the first time in years that our long nightmare was finally starting to end.

Jim Dolan sent me an email criticized me for being a bastard of a fan that he disliked Frank Kaminsky and everything he stands for and that were taking WCS just because we know you dont want him. Sincerely jr

I think Porzingis would be a truly wonderful addition for the Sixers. Man, it'd be tough to miss on that fine young lad, but if the Sixers are gonna take him, I mean, what can you do. Win some, lose some.

I guess the Knicks would just have to settle for D'Angelo Russell in that scenario. Sigh.

Well the knicks have not really expressed any love for Russell either so does that mean he is number 1 and WCS #2?

Phil got fined once for talking about Russell.

I think the Knicks board would go something like this:

1) Towns - they know they have no chance
2) Okafor - they likely have no chance but would draft him in a heart beat
3) Russell - they likely have no chance but would draft him in a heart beat
4) WCS / Winslow - I bet different guys are split on these two
5) Kaminsky
6) Payne
7) Lyles
8) maybe Mudiay? though he might be falling even farther

http://www.libertyballers.com/2015/6/10/8755443/76ers-intrigued-emmanuel-mudiay-dangelo-russell-nba-draft-sixers

While many 76ers fans have set their sights on Ohio State guard D'Angelo Russell with the third overall pick, it may not be a one horse race for Philadelphia's first round selection. Sixers general manager Sam Hinkie is intrigued by former Guangdong Southern Tigers point guard Emmanuel Mudiay, a source told Liberty Ballers.

Mudiay played just 12 games in China due to injury, but averaged 18 points, 6.3 rebounds, and nearly 6 assists per game. Philadelphia, like many other teams, is attracted by his athleticism, something he certainly has the upper hand over Russell.

And while Russell may have a more polished offensive game, the 19-year-old Mudiay possesses the passing skills and defensive potential to be a game changer at the NBA level. According to a report from Adam Zagoria, Mudiay will have dinner with Sixers representatives on June 15, before working out for the team the following day. Any workouts Russell has scheduled with Philadelphia are currently unknown.

Anything goes during the pre-draft period, and there are a plethora of players Philadelphia could reasonably select. However, don't count out the possibility of the Sixers selecting Emmanuel Mudiay, even if D'Angelo Russell is still on the board when the Sixers are on the clock.

This article is saying the Sixers might prefer Mudiay over Russell.

If Russell or Okafor slips to the Knicks we should all gather in a prayer circle to thank the basketball gods.

Well you may be onto something cause he said before the season the Knicks would be a playoff team and they ended up with the 2nd worst record in the league!

Whatever Phil says, expect the opposite!

with our luck, Lakers take Mudiay, Philly Porzingis and we have a choice between Okafor & Russell.

And time runs out before Phil can decide, and we lose the pick!
